The product does exactly what it claims to do. eco-friendly setting - The 2 gets 4 MPG more than the stock car. Hold on in sport mode, it makes the pedal so responsive, and it really brings my hemi to life. It's a lot of fun driving my truck now. If my brake lights are working, ask the guy in the Camaro next to me who was revving his engine at a stop light.
Hemi 7 L It has a top speed of about 550 horses. br>br>It's a fun car to drive, but the lag in throttle response drives me insane, especially when blipping a downshift. My old fox body 5's throttle response was something I yearned for. I was hoping to get a 0 L Mustang, but I didn't think I'd be successful. br>br>I just saw this the other day and decided to order one after reading the reviews. This was the easiest and best gadget I've ever installed, with an incredibly intuitive unit and the best bang for the buck I've ever seen! br>br>It works, it's a blast to drive, and the sport plus setting is pretty vicious, as everyone says! Even city mode is a vast improvement over the default setup. br>br>This has rekindled my affection for my car! It's a total game changer and a lot more fun to drive. If I want to, I can turn it down or turn it off while I'm out and about in town. It's a win-win situation. br>br>While digital will never replace the feel of an analog throttle cable, the Pedal Commander will!.
I can't praise this product enough for how simple it is to set up. Installing this took me less than 2 minutes. The pedal has an unrivaled feel, and you can dial in that 1:1 ratio to perfection. We all wish we had it, I believe. In terms of driver "feel" in the car, this is my favorite modification I've purchased for my car. However, I am unable to give this product a high rating because, after about three months of use, I cranked my car one morning and it went into limp mode. To be able to drive the car, I had to uninstall the pedal commander and have the codes cleared through Dodge. I must confess that I dislike driving without it, so after a few days, I reinstalled it. And while I believe the problem is due to a device malfunction, for this amount of money, I'd rather not have my car rendered nearly useless due to a malfunction. I'm dissatisfied with the problem it created, but I'm crossing my fingers that it won't happen again.
You will not be disappointed if you purchase one. You're missing out if you don't have one yet. This thing and the way it makes your car feel are two of my favorite things. It doesn't give you more power, but it gives you the impression that it does. I can't really drive my car in sport 4 because the pedal is so responsive; I appear to be a novice driver, especially with a manual transmission. Go get one; they're a little overpriced in my opinion, but once you drive with it for the first time, you'll be amazed at how much pedal you weren't getting and wonder why you waited so long. scatpack Challenger 2016.
I'm the proud owner of a v6 GT Challenger. I wanted a hemi, but I live on dirt roads in Iowa and need AWD for the majority of the year, so I didn't want to have two vehicles. My challenger is great overall, but the pedal had lag. This has resolved 100% of the issues. My v6 now feels more powerful (despite the fact that it doesn't have any real horsepower). As a result, it's time to have some fun. In eco mode, my mpg increased from around 19 to 21 mpg, and this is on a mix of highway and city driving. AWD on back/dirt roads. Overall, it gives me the ability to feel more powerful when I want to and conserve fuel when I don't.
I had one of these without bluetooth on a 2015 camaro and it worked fine, but when I installed one with bluetooth on a 2016 challenger, I get a check engine code every time I use the bluetooth app. It's not a big deal to reset it, but crawling under the dash and removing the access panel is a pain. Not to mention the fact that the check engine code had to be removed. When I'm not using the Bluetooth app, everything works fine. Update: Now I have a throttle delay; when the delay is over, it simply accelerates.
After a week of owning it and loving it, I switched from sport to eco, and my Jeep Grand Cherokee engine light and low pedal sensor warning began flashing. I cleared the codes and had no problems, but the hassle was not worth it. I returned it because I believe it will happen again, and I read similar things in other reviews about Eco mode.
If you don't want to unlock your PCM, this is an excellent device to have. I recently purchased a 2018 Power Wagon and was dissatisfied with its performance. I didn't want to risk voiding my warranty by unlocking the PCM, so I went with the Pedal Commander, despite mixed reviews on YouTube (some very positive, some very negative). I was told that using this part would not void the warranty (use your own judgment on this), so I decided to give it a shot. I'd be satisfied if it could eliminate the mushy gas pedal sensation. br>br>It only took a few minutes for me to connect it after I received it. If you don't believe the warranty claim, simply disconnect the small harness at the top of the gas pedal and connect the power command between the harness and the disconnected wire. If you don't believe the warranty claim, you can disconnect and reconnect the Pedal Commander in less than a minute with no one knowing. I noticed the difference right away in my 2018 Power Wagon. It didn't eliminate all lag, but it significantly reduced the time between pressing the pedal and acceleration. I was finally able to spin the tires on pavement for the first time since purchasing the truck. This, in my opinion, is how the Power Wagon should have arrived. I've owned Ram trucks before, and they've always been responsive, so I'm not sure why the Power Wagon's pedal is so spongy. br>br>I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who dislikes the squishiness of the stock Ram throttle. I would have unlocked the PCM instead if I hadn't been concerned about voiding the warranty. For the time being, this will suffice. I'm quite pleased with the outcome.
