I have been driving with this device installed on my 2011 Chevrolet Silverado and it is fantastic! My charger is plugged in all the time since it was incredibly easy to install! It takes me a few seconds to start driving once the light turns As a result, my gas mileage has increased as well. Because of the way I drive and the engine's lack of thinking, my car is not as bad! My recommendation buy this product because it will definitely save your engine since it costs only 200 dollars.
I like how easy it is to set up and it does the job it claims to do. Locate the display on your dashboard that shows your truck coasting from a V8 to a V4 while at a speed of 25 MPH or more. You plug the Range device into the OBD2 port under the driver's side of your vehicle and it begins to work. In the future, V4 will not exist. Creating a new transmission for my 2009 Suburban has made a huge difference in its performance. There are no more rumbling noises when light acceleration is resumed This thing is the best thing ever for my truck. Although the improvement isn't as stark as it was in my 2016 Yukon, it is still showing signs of improvement. In exchange for your loss in MPG, you gain in transmission longevity. Thanks a lot.
As described in the picture, the product matched the description. The product was of a different color, but customer service indicated it was the same part. Due to the False Advertising in the descriptive text, this part may not fit your model of vehicle since they claim it fits all GM V6 and V8 engines. In speaking with customer service, they told me there are a few models prior to 2010 for which they have no codes. The order was placed, the package shipped, and the package was returned.
Although I was confident it would shut down the V4 mode, I was curious to find out if it would also provide the other benefits I had heard of. This is what has been observed so far. First of all, the truck sounds different when it's There is no ticking in this sound. There is a running sound. As well as affecting shift points, it also seems to affect the transmission. It seems like it shifts more smoothly now, and the engine seems to have a little more power.

This has been my most amazing period so far. The thing was acting up between gears and I thought it needed work so I thought there was something wrong with it. After installing this, my V8 truck now drives like all my other V8 trucks do. An overall score of 5 would be appropriate. The variable 4/8 cylinder mode is available on 3 of the three machines.
It is very easy to install after plugging it in. The battery has not drained so I didn't need to unplug. Lighting is bright at the floor, but dim at the ceiling. You lose some deceleration because it always tries to hold just a little power. You can see this behavior when you watch the fuel mileage meter even when you use my manual transmission, it doesn't always go to 99mpg.
The engine is a 2L V8 and it has AFM meaning it shuts off 4 cylinders to save fuel at certain points during a drive. This would be fine if it shut off the cylinders at the right time. The power went off suddenly without a warning and there was no sound or vibration to accompany it. need to do is plug it into your OBD port and it takes care of everything, pure V8 excitement. I have not experienced any battery discharge using this device.
My engine has not needed any oil since I installed the disabler. I used to add 3-5 quarts of oil between oil changes until I installed the disabler. I use this vehicle for a lot of highway traveling. My oil consumption was the problem, not the fuel mileage. By mounting this device, it solved that issue as well as gained some extra power to the engine. The issue has been resolved!.
