Questions & Answers

Do these fit a 2004 Subaru Impreza (blobeye) in Europe? Is it possible to run it at 240V as well?

If you are looking for a different part number, you would need it. You can find the part number by contacting a dealership in your area. Once you have that, type it in at Amazon. If they are the same, they should be able to tell you. There will be an American plug installed with this one, but it is 120 volts

What is the amp draw of this beast? As far as the extension cord and timer are concerned, I'm trying to pair them correctly. ?

In my case, I usually use a standard 25 foot by 14-inch grid My experience is that I use two extension cords with GFCIs without any issues. So I would guess that it would be under 15 amps.

Is it better to have the temperature on constantly or to shut it off periodically?

A constant supply of electric heat is provided by all block heaters. It will be necessary to purchase a timer that is capable of handling 400W - they can be found for less than

It's best to make an investment for long engine life
5/5

An automatic engine start-up plug-in is one of the best and cheapest investments you can make for your vehicle. I have one plugged into a timer that turns on three hours before I leave for work each day. A warm engine can be felt under the hood and the frost has melted away. In comparison to a standard cold start at 0 F, the engine starts much easier and with less noise. I think it is worth 110% of the cost.

Having owned the car for 2 years now, I am very happy with it
5/5

After two winters with this heater, I am in need of a new one. Earlier this year, everything worked as intended. It's been a good start to 2019 so far. I noticed in my 2006 WRX, if it is 20 degrees, the temperature gauge will begin to move in about a My house has been heated for about a minute now. We are almost at the end of our 3-day temperature run The time is four It sounds better and starts quicker when I plug it from a socket, which is the best modification to make to my car.

Adapt the 2 to each other
4/5

The 5L came out without a hitch! 03 Forester X (03 Forester). The installation is simple, as it does not require pulling out freeze plugs. The downside is that you need some special tools (I think a 27mm deep socket is necessary). However, it will not get the car much hotter than 100*F, even after a full 2 hours. But it's well worth the time.

What a great way to warm up on a chilly winter morning
5/5

When I get out of the driveway, it's minus zero degrees outside, and my car is already heated. The distance between my house and the driveway is only ten feet. My favorite part of it is the simplicity.

Served a season of service
3/5

The program was installed and it worked for a few months. It doesn't make sense why the program We will order another one to be sure the power cord is not It ended up needing to be replaced completely. What a hassle. When it does work, it is very helpful, especially if you run on E85 for cold starts or if you have forged motors.
