Does it have a waterproof coating?

I am not certain whether it is waterproof, but it is at least water resistant.

Has it been approved by the FDA or the UL?

It is almost time for us to receive the cUL (UL & UL) Our certification will be issued within the next couple of months after we receive CSA approval. There were no problems with the physical testing.

When was the temperature inside the house (32°F)? The badger uses what factors (if any) to decide if it should switch on or off in response to the temperature outside? Does it have the option to be changed?

There is a temperature sensor outside the enclosure for the power badger. Actual outside temperature is sensed by it. In order to function properly, the unit must be situated in the same temperature environment as the engine it controls. There is no way to modify the readings that the unit uses in its computations.

Do you think you could use an extension cord with this ?

Whenever possible, as long as the wire is 14awg or smaller

Definitely a first impression and features that stand out

Although it isn't quite as cold as it was yesterday- As I inspected and read the manual, I was impressed with the product upon initial inspection. I haven't yet had the opportunity to use this controller, but I am optimistic about it. There are many useful tips in the manual There is no misinformation in it - it's in English and it's thorough As a result of reading it, I had no questions about how the device operates or how it can be configured to operate as I like. In addition, the manual contains great explanations of all the features and pictures with descriptions so that you know what each display and control means. In terms of features, the controller is easy to use and provides an effective way of controlling the heater without wasting too much power. It is possible to set up the engine controller so that it is ready at a specific time, but it can also be set to maintain readiness for 0 minutes The batteries last about 9 hours. So, if you want to be ready to go at 6am or 10am, you can do that with this system. It can also be set to maintain engine readiness throughout the day or to just maintain the block heater.

This is a great item

I use this controller to keep the engine on my Bobcat S70 at home running continuously without having to use glow plugs all the time. It starts right up without requiring the glow plugs. With this unit, Bobcat sits out in cold Illinois, starts instantly, and lowers the electricity bill since he does not have to run an extra heater 24 hours a day.

Controller for the engine block of the Power Badger

There has not been a long time since I last had it. It does exactly what it is advertised to do. Truck starts as if it were 75 degrees when temperature is 5 The event starts at 7 I've got it set up that way. I set the alarm for 00 AM and it has been ready on time so far.

Keeping engines warm and saving money at the same time

The thermostat is automatically shut off at a temperature above 0°F. When the temperature is freezing, the cycle is cyclically turned on and off to conserve energy. I had to start motors in subzero weather and even with the cycling, the engines started as soon as they were turned on.

It seems to work as advertised, but it can be difficult to plug and unplug from vehicles. It would be more convenient to have a quick connect in extreme climates when the user is not willing to kneel on the ground for extended periods of time.
