Questions & Answers

Can it be used with the Cat ?

The JD 430 deisel blew up when I tried to use it. I probably added a bushing to 3/4" because the port is 1" and I have a 1" bushing.

It can heat oil, but can it be used for heating water?

They have a dipstick heater in the engine block, so look for model number

Can you tell me if this has a thermostat and is there anything to prevent it from overheating?

This CPU will not overheat, as I have never experienced that in any application where I have used it

This is an easy fix for diesel Dodges
5/5

My 2007 Dodge Ram is equipped with this unit. There was already a heating part on the engine of the Dodge, but it was covered with a screw on cap and was missing the heating cord. It was said to me that my truck did not come with a block heater when I bought it in Hawaii. There was a cord attached, just not the cord attached to it. It is my understanding that all of Dodge's diesel models are equipped with them, but if it was not an option on the vehicle then a cap was fitted instead. In any case, all I had to do was We used something similar to a garden hose cap and screwed it in to the electrical line and it worked like a charm.

The installation of an M35A2 water pump has been blocked
3/5

Since I couldn't install the heater from the heater mount without scraping the casting on the 1966 M35a2, I believe the water pump is different. Rather, it hit the casting of the pump, not the impeller. It was necessary to smash the element with a hammer to get the elements closer together (from There is a separation of about 5 feet. There are 250 separations. The leak now appears to be from one of the terminals. I will be looking at the 400Watt unit since it has a shorter element. There is some doubt about the quality of the part, but it seems to fit in some water pumps, so it cannot be installed.

Buy this product no matter what! I had to take it out the first day I used it
3/5

In order to reinstall my adware, I must uninstall it first, then reinstall it. After 1 hour, the process should not fail.

During the first two weeks after installation, it worked well
3/5

It took a little over two weeks for it to stop heating but was very easy to install. Every morning, we load hay into the ranch tractor using the unit, so it was extremely aggravating when the tractor wouldn't start when we went out for chores!.

In the end, I ended up in a terrible situation! My 1972 M109 was equipped with it, but I only had it for a few I don't think I could give it a positive review because it left me in a bad place
3/5

In the event someone were to send me a new one to replace this defective one and it worked as advertised, I would change my review to a more positive one !.
