The instructions need to be improved. The cord comes with the unit you do not have to order it separately. I have not yet installed this unit, but just wanted to let people know that the cord is included. Despite the fact that the listing does not mention that the cord is included, I ordered it in addition to the cord. Amazon refunded me in full for the cord, which was great.

I'm not sure why it says it has to be switched to 360fp + 3fp as described in the instructions. Apparently the device comes with a chunk of plastic plus an o ring. It has been over 40 years since I have dealt with diesel engines. This is a lot of tork for no reason that I can see. If it were to work, all the threads would fall out of the plug or block. The engine runs fine and there are no leaks. Update 12/10/12
The engine is running well. guess this means the screw I used was suitable for this product. Best of.
