Switching from ground to power will cause the fan to turn in the opposite direction. On my 2008 Dodge Ram 3500, I put this on the front of my AC. It says A/C Condition. My air conditioner has been acting up lately, so I'm looking for a fix. I feel cold when traveling and at night or while driving down the road. If you are stuck at a traffic light or in a traffic jam, it is a different story. Except if you put the vehicle in park and rev the motor, the air conditioning would start to dull out. I don't know what to do when I put these on, though. Definitely worth the price!.
I like the size and the mounting tabs and zip ties included with it. It is true that they The issues I have are the following. There is nothing special about the zip ties that come with these fans, and some have broken due to vibration while driving normally. In addition. Air does not move very fast through these fans. Unlike the original fans, which ran for only a minute or two after the car was shut off, these fans ran for 10 minutes. After completing my installation of my Jeep Grand Cherokee 4,0 L6, I am ready to go. I love the fans they're super quiet and I have no complaints. It works better with a shroud installed because directly mounting the fans to the radiator will not cool as effectively and leave you unhappy. I run them on a big block fe with an aluminum radiator and they run around 205 to 205 degrees depending on the temperature outside.
I wish I had gotten a few 16" fans, but the original fan in our family van never came on, so I bought these that spin faster and are quieter than original. We have better mileage on our van than we have ever had.
The brittleness of zip ties makes them a poor choice for the clothing industry.
It feels good to fit well at first, but after a few races, I feel unfocused.
