Are you really going to need the entire We bought the entire set as opposed to just the piece that goes onto the coolant, so we could add coolant to our old garage refrigerator without having to have someone come out

(And it was just an old junk fridge for extra space) and it was not complete with everything we needed. Buying the whole set means you will have everything you need, but you won't. You're right! It does not! It would have been easier for me to just go to the store to find the individual part I needed. I just thought I'd mention it.

The tool works great, and it's very easy to use

I received it as usual very quickly. It's easy to do if you read the description first and buy the R134 adapter well ahead of time. Once I have it all together, I got the R134 small can for $10 from home depot. The Kenmore fridge wasn't cooled enough as it was very evident by the refrigerant level. When I saw the pressure in the air, I let out the gas slowly. I am not seeing any more high temperature warnings in the fridge now that it has cooled so well. I recommend everyone to use this cool tool when doing DIY projects.

Would have been better off if I did my homework

A set of the pieces I wanted to complete the set could be bought separately, so I decided to buy this option. In the end, the water came out slightly ahead of what I had expected. I decided to pay a bit more for a complete set of filters. Connecting one end of the hose to the piercing valve was one of my expectations. It's not possible without the adapter, which is a great disappointment to me. If I had known this, I would've purchased a different set or used a piece from my collection to set it up.

Neither the gages nor the bullet fittings fit on them

You have no way to fill the AC unit up since they give you plugs that do not fit on the gages so if you want a quick fix, that is not an option Since now you have to spend more money on a fitting that fits on the gages.

I am over the top When the gauge does not even fit the line tap fitting, why in the world would you sell for a kit price? It is extremely dissatisfying and now I need to figure out how to adapt the gauge to the line tap port before it can be used

I had to purchase an adapter for the charging hose to fit on the valve in order to use the bullet piercing tap My attempt to connect any of the R134a cans to the other end of the hose became useless when I could not do so. You will not be able to use this set. You should stay away from him.
