How do I install this if it comes with a press push tool?

Hello, it has been so long since I installed this that I cannot recall how to do it. Installation of the bearings was very easy, as I used a threaded rod. As long as you follow the instructions, you'll be fine. Even today the vehicle still handles much better, saving a lot of time and frustration.

How do I know if I still need the original swing arm or if I can just use it?

The swing arms are designed to be installed on stock swing arms

What kind of seal is there to prevent grease from escaping and dirt from getting in? Can the brushing area be sealed from dirt? How is the problem of the bushing area getting dirty addressed? Thank you. ?

There are no seals in sight! Almost from the beginning, I thought this was a bad design. To keep dirt and moisture out, I greased all the bearings and the swingarm. Using this kit made a big difference in how the bike handled. Thank you. I hope this was helpful. I know Steve

I just rebuilt my 1993 HD FXR due to snapping the belt, and the stock bushings were too old to use. So I bought this kit instead of reusing the obsolete stock This CCE swingarm kit gave me a lot of satisfaction! This is a worthwhile purchase. With my little harbor freight press, it was easy to install. It's so amazing! My dealer recommended that I purchase new OEM donuts and mounting screws for my swingarm We're using a front motor mount that was upgraded to stock. That's a solid piece of equipment! The vehicle can turn sharply and can be maneuvered in tight spaces No flex in the corners!.

Now we will just have to hope for good weather. It was fairly easy to install. It is now just a matter of waiting for good weather to try it. It will for sure be better than stock cleave blocks. I just wanted to say that the swing arm kit worked perfectly for me. Compared to before, the bike is much better handled. As of today, I have a newer bike since I sold this However, you can bet that if I had cleave blocks on my new bike they would be gone and I would have this kit instead. This is an expensive investment, but one that makes handling much safer.

I was able to get rid of the FXR's wobble when cornering at higher speeds. The bike I have been riding 21 years has the least amount of wobble I have ever noticed.

All I can say is WOW, this kit has drastically improved my bike's handling. It is hard to believe such a big change will take place overnight. It would be nice if it had seals to help contain grease and prevent dirt from entering. Three years from now, I'll try to find out how it's doing.
