My fan blows air into the room, but it doesn't blow air out. As soon as I reversed the wires, the motor stopped working. Wires are back in their original position, but the battery is blown. The fact that it's a BATHROOM FAN really makes it a bummer!
I liked this fan very much. I am glad I purchased this
No, you do not have to remove the fan assembly to access the screen

The 12-pack of 12-packs of cigarettes need to be replaced every year The roof vent in the bathroom is powered by a volt motor. In terms of product quality, the Vortex I arrived in perfect condition and included with all the requisite parts.
I was able to watch the installation video online first, and then read reviews online. During installation, I removed the screen (a simple twist counterclockwise) and the fan blades to have an easier view of the interior of the vent. A simple wiring system (white to white and black to black) was used. I was not immediately clear on how the gear for the handle that raises the vent lid would work with the location of the knob on the Vortex (there were no instructions). located approximately 4" in from the edge of the vent while the knob was located approximately 2" in from the edge of the vortex. Using a circle, I have indicated the opening into which the gear on the vent lid fits in the rectangular white box (the gear box) in the photo. I had to press it firmly into place to seat it, but the alignment was fine. Once it was seated, I fastened it up using the two screws that came with it. As far as alignment is concerned, the pockets for the screws and the openings in the crosspiece in the vent fit together correctly. (Before I started, I covered the shower register and shut the drain. A magnetic bit was also attached to my screwdriver so that I was unlikely to lose screws. 2) I tested the switch once before re-installing it The fan blades are installed and the screen is installed. is D-type. To align the fan blades with the shaft, be sure they are in line. reattach the bezel. Though it is not quiet, the Vortex moves A LOT of air and should do a much better job of reducing odors and humidity than the old fan did.
In the box, there were no instructions. An online search for manufacturers' instructions did not provide any results. It took me a while to find some consumer videos on Youtube. However, I suppose I could have figured out how to install with or without the instructions, but it would be nice to have a better understanding I think it is very impressive from a functional standpoint. There has been a lot of heat this summer and even in the mountains it has been warm Only a small cheap fan in the bathroom could be found in my travel trailer. To allow fresh air into the trailer, I installed this so that I could open the door to the bathroom and run it. As soon as you are in a bathroom with the door closed and you feel the air being sucked in, you realize how much air is being drawn in.
I installed the vent in the bathroom today. It was not near as easy to install as they claim it is. To keep everything aligned, I held everything in the air and adjusted everything while holding the car with one hand. There was a problem with the screw that attaches the fan to the roof vent crank. The screw that fit the crank on my unit would not fit in the new hole. No screws, so it can't be tampered with. It's up to gravity to prevent it from falling. For now, it appears to be working. This fan does indeed move air, but it is quite noisy, and not very attractive. And the screen is not as slippery as To remove it, I had to take the whole unit out of the ceiling. Despite all the shortcomings, I am pleased with the way it moves the air, and I guess that's what matters most.
This afternoon, I replaced the stock fan in the ceiling of my bathroom in my Kodiak Cub 178RB. All I needed was a long Phillips head screwdriver - but this came with everything I needed. If you don't have one, get one right away! I installed two wires, three screws, and reinstalled the stock lower surround, and I was back up and running with much more air volume, and I did all of this without affecting One of these is a purchase that you will not regret. You can rely on them.
I had no problems with this until half a year later when it melted. Despite putting a MaxxAir vent cover over it, it doesn't like the heat in the desert. The circuit board got so hot that it melted the housing so that the fan blades were no longer able to move. I used to run it continuously for 3 hours during the hottest parts of the day at the time.
The sound of silence is not pleasant. Quiet is far from being the case. However, it is a good deal and it is very easy to set up. As I put it in the bathroom with the door closed, the sound is good, but not great.
Unless you already have a vent fan already wired, this would be a great addition. I did not have to remove the old dead fan, it just slips right into place. It also has the holder to accommodate the vent cover stem.
The only thing is that you get a push button on/off switch. I guess I'd go for the next model up if I didn't care about the factory fan speeds. There is a variable speed switch on the product, but I love it, and I would like to buy another one. The fifth wheel trailer in which I live has two bathrooms.
