If you do not have a lift, this project is not a DIY project. In the past, I have installed light kits for my Honda Element without issue. In contrast, the RAV4 has an all-wheel drive system. The rear of the car needs to be removed and then a power line should be run to the front by removing many plastic panels. It is extremely difficult if not impossible to do this correctly if you do not have access to a lift. This cable has the right plugs and wire lengths for most straightforward installation. The two other apps I tried before finding this one didn't work. If you're doing it for the first time, take your time, get a flash light, and go slowly. It took me 90 minutes to do the 1st Rav4 out of 2 I own. 30 minutes was all it took for the second one. With this kit, it is just as easy as pie. Connectors and wiring do not need to be ordered. The kit has everything you need. It comes with a self-taping grounding screw as well. I was already planning on ordering wiring and other parts, so this saved me a few dollars. You can take them back to the shop for a refund now. It is certainly a kit that I would recommend.
