Is it better to buy something made in China or buy something made in the United States?

It's a Chinese product.

Is there a ball valve on the high side port?

Both sides have schrader valves, which are similar to those found in tires, with one being larger than the other.

Is there any kind of tool included with it?

There is no tool included in this package. I had a bicycle valve stem tool on hand that was just long enough for my needs.

Is this compatible with a 1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ with a low-side valve?

My 2001 XJ is in the process of being repaired.

2L. I assumed these would be of good quality because the truck has a Santech compressor. I was able to replace both the low and high pressure valves with the help of the kit. It also came with the caps that were required to protect the valves. The low-pressure side will require a valve removal tool, while the high-pressure side, which includes the threaded housing, can be removed using a standard box-end wrench. the final nut.

This is a good deal on a valve set. Check to see if your vehicle is compatible. On a 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ, I installed these. I only required a portion of the valves that were provided. They appear to be functional and durable.

The service port valves on my Dakota were leaking

All of the parts I needed to replace the service port valves on my Dakota AC were included. I had to tighten the low port shrader valve a little more than I had originally, but it now works perfectly. I'm also not sure what size wrench I'll need to replace the high side.

Don't put your faith in the description of the application

According to the application chart, the parts were ordered to fit a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ), but none of them fit. It's not worth the trouble of going back. br>All Santec parts are genuine. They're of good quality, but they're too small for me.

Both the high and low pressure side valves and caps on our 2003 Jeep Wrangler were included in the kit. Make certain you've got the right tool for the job - The Mastercool 81290 was used in this experiment. Nothing beats a blast of icy air conditioning!.
