For my 3. 0L, I ordered these to replace the old intake bolts. Rebuild one time. Throughout the process, I tested other MAHLE parts and was pleased with the price and quality. br>Anyone who asks me about MAHLE gets my highest recommendation.
Mahle is the company that created it. That should tell you everything you need to know about Clevite (formerly Clevite). Spend the small difference in price between this and a low-cost set on quality. Complete the task only once.
On a 3. 0L, I had to replace the head gaskets. Lower intake bolts should be replaced on a 5L Malibu 06, according to the manufacturer. Because the washers are rubber-coated, I didn't use the sealant that was recommended for the original bolts with integrated washers.
I read a lot of reviews that said the Fel-X was a great product. The professional set was too big for the three. Because I only had one engine, I went with these. They were made to go together. I used these to replace the gasket in the lower intake manifold. When removing the lower intake manifold, GM recommends replacing these bolts.
So far, everything has gone well, and the torque has been set to the correct values.
