Questions & Answers

How many times can I put a tab in my gmc 2000 jimmy's radiator? on a regular basis?

Every month is not the case. Rather, drain and replace your water/antifreeze on a regular basis. Don't put any more in your radiator if it fixes the leak(s).

On my 95 Corvette, I just replaced the waterpump and coolant (green), and there is a small leak on the radiator. Will a couple of ounces a week help?

It made a big difference in my Chevy Cruze. It was losing coolant at an alarming rate, and two dealerships were stumped. When I took those tablets, the issue was completely resolved. Since then, I haven't had any issues.

What are your thoughts on this product?

Simply place the required number of tablets in your coolant tank and continue driving as usual. The dealership couldn't find the leak because it was sporadic, so they just started replacing parts at random. The problem was solved with just one application of this product, and we haven't had to refill the coolant since.

Is this something that can be used with a tractor?

If you're hoping to stop leaks in your tractor's cooling system, I'd say yes as long as the leaks aren't huge. Although I haven't tried any of these yet, I believe the tablets are made of walnut shells, as this is what GM used in their high-value family - In the late 1990s, V6 engines were available with a 5-year, 150000-mile maintenance-free warranty straight from the factory. Their cooling systems come with a no-risk guarantee. The cooling system was upgraded with walnut shells by GM. Dexcool (ethylene glycol) is designed to protect aluminum heads and intakes, as well as cast iron blocks, in engines. To keep the aluminum from oxidizing, primarily. When the system gets low and you get air in the system, the organic acids eat away at some of your gaskets, primarily the O-ring. GM put walnut shells in with the Dexcool because of erosion problems associated with Dexcool when the system gets low and you get air in the system causes the organic acids to eat away at some of your gaskets, mainly the O-ring. Because air gets into the system and causes erosion around the gaskets, a lot of GM V6 vehicles leak, so GM put Walnut shells in their cooling systems right from the factory as a safeguard. I just ordered some of these and because it says GM tablets that are compatible with Dexcool, I'm just assuming they're made of ground-up GM tablets. I think it's walnut shells, but I'm not sure; it's just my best guess.

Antifreeze in Saab 9-3 stopped disappearing
5/5

In a 2008 Saab 9-3, I assisted in the sealing of a slow leak, which may have been caused by blocked porosity. There are three convertible options. The car had been losing radiator fluid without any visible signs of a leak or a problem with performance. I added three of these tablets to the radiator reservoir after using a gallon of Dexcool in two months. No more fluid loss, and I'm very pleased.

There will be no more than 5
5/5

3 liters of coolant have been lost. My old 5. The coolant in the 3l Tahoe began to leak. There are no leaks from outside sources. The oil shows no signs of coolant. I'm not willing to spend a lot of money on a car that has 195000 miles on it. After a radiator drain, I crushed these up and mixed them in with new coolant. After 6 months and thousands of miles, coolant loss is no longer an issue.

And, to my surprise, it actually worked! Used in

And, to my surprise, it actually worked! I used it in a UTV to fix a small leak that I couldn't find anywhere else.

It's a good idea to keep a spare package in the car in case you need it in the future
5/5

This solution is effective. It is a natural product, and I strongly advise you to use it. Use exactly as directed in the directions. A full-size SUV with a 17-inch wheelbase can be fitted with a single package. V8 engine with a 5 gallon capacity. Before beginning to use the system, flush it. To make it easier to put in, I recommend crushing it and mixing it with water in a container. Carry on as usual with your car. As a result, the product will be able to reach all of the small leaks you may have. I highly recommend this to anyone who is stumped as to where their coolant is leaking. Use only as directed on the package; if you use more than that, your cooling system may become clogged. That is why, in order to achieve what you want, I recommend crushing the tablets and mixing them with water. No leaks.

It's a pleasant surprise
5/5

It worked surprisingly well; we have a Chevrolet Cruze with a leaking coolant system that dealerships have been unable to diagnose or repair, but two of these tablets immediately fixed the problem.

I was able to find a solution to my issue
5/5

After replacing the water pump on my 95 Corvette, I noticed a small drip on the floor from the radiator. Since the system had been flushed and new coolant (green) had been installed, I tried three of these in the top radiator hose, warmed up the car until cooling fans came on 227 degrees, 15 minute run time,,still had small drop of coolant on the floor the next morning,,let it cool off for the night,,next day weather was nice so went for a 25 minute highway ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.

Work and far superior to alumaseal
5/5

These are more effective than alumaseal in the majority of situations. They use these to seal any small leaks in new vehicles. I used it on a Jeep XJ with a leaking rear freezeplug, and it worked perfectly! It was completely sealed!.

Coolant woes are a thing of the past
5/5

In the 2003 Deville, there was a problem with coolant disappearing. Three of these tablets were crushed and placed in the overflow reservoir. Since then (almost 1,000 miles), I haven't had to add any coolant. They're inexpensive enough to try out. I hope they work out for you as well.
