The best option is to use original equipment parts. It doesn't coat much more than aftermarket, if at all. There's nothing wrong with going to a small shop, but if possible, request OEM parts. On my GMC, I exclusively use GM parts. Aside from aftermarket add-ons, I prefer OEM replacement parts. This belt is available as part of a kit (which includes a tool) or separately. Purchase the kit for an additional $8. The device will be required.

It's a bit pricey, but it's well worth it! I'm not sure why this part was so much more expensive than the same part at the local auto parts store, but it worked fine
