This bracket can be used to mount the JK, but it isn't designed for any particular location on the JK. Another bracket is included in some of their kits, and it mounts to the JK's brake booster. Don't quote me on this, but I believe it's only available as part of a complete package, which includes the compressor, wiring harness, tank, and everything else.
Plate made of steel. I'm not sure what gauges I have, but they're very sturdy.br>Has elongated holes, so it fits a variety of pump sizes.

The bracket is very sturdy. The ViAir 450C compressor will fit perfectly in this case. To prevent the rubber isolators from pushing through the holes, I added some small steel washers to the bracket where the compressor feet mount. It was an excellent solution. Because steel is so expensive right now, I couldn't make this for less. Mounted on a 2020 Chevrolet 2500HD LTZ, the compressor and bracket are mounted high enough to avoid being hit when rolling over higher berms, rocks, and other obstacles. br>The most difficult part of the mounting process was drilling holes in the frame.
This was mounted to a frame rail on an old truck I bought. The machine was rusted and old, but it still worked. I decided to run the pump while the truck was running to make life easier for the truck's old batteries. Despite the fact that I had read on the internet that it was not a good idea. Well, it died after a month of inflating it with "Air Springs. " I made a new one, and I'm not going to start the engine while the unit is running. So, in order to control when the unit turns on, it really needs a manual on/off switch.
I bought it because I thought it would come in handy in a variety of situations. It has slotted holes for mounting the compressor in existing holes in the frame, but only has slotted holes for the compressor and four round holes for mounting to the frame. I attempted to return it, but it was not eligible for free shipping and would cost more than $20 to ship, so I will keep it. I gave it two stars instead of one because it is of excellent quality, constructed of thick steel and finished well. If you're off-the-grid, this might be a good idea. While on the road, I was worried about the compressor being damaged by rocks.
It's well-made and does what it's supposed to do. It's worth noting that this bracket can accommodate the larger Viair compressors. So, even if you have a smaller Viair compressor, you'll need to make room in your vehicle for this rather large bracket. Moreover, the item was labeled as "VIAIR 95900 Compressor Mounting Brackets. " " Plural refers to the fact that there are multiples of something. To be clear, you only get one for around $27, rather than two as the title suggests. You'll need two of these brackets if you have a Viair dual compressor setup.
It is well-made. I'm looking forward to completing the system installation.
It's a simple item that gets the job done. I'm not sure I could make it any less expensive than buying it. It has a pleasant appearance and can be used with a variety of products.
This is ideal for my needs.
