i don. I'm not sure if it's made in the United States, but I've had one on my Willys Jeep for four years and it's still going strong.
I believe there is a housing link, but I am not certain.
5/16" is the diameter of the outer cable. 1/16" is the diameter of the inner cable. Thank you - br>br> Tim.
You can cut it to fit your needs. I had to cut off a good chunk of it when I put it on a 69 got. However, it is very simple to set up.

The price is a little high, but the quality is excellent. Good, easy-to-follow instructions; be sure to read them thoroughly to avoid unraveling your inner and/or outer cables. The best advice I can give is to use aviation sheers (tin snips) to cut the inner cable. For straight cuts, I used the yellow-handled one, which cuts very cleanly and easily fits into the carb end fitting. There is plenty of adjustment; I followed the instructions for presetting the components and there was no need for it; additionally, the operation is very smooth with no snags.
" It's a very attractive throttle setup with adjustable length. My firewall, through which the cable passes, is at a 30 degree angle downward, so I couldn't get it to work on my car. Because I only have 14 inches to work with, I'd have to bend the cable housing into a pretzel to get it to work. It would have been perfect if my firewall had been flat. There were no additional parts listed that I could use to make it work. Maybe there's something out there, but the information is scarce.
On a 1978 GMC pickup, I installed a cable. For firewall mounting, I found large flange washers and 1 1/4" rubber gaskets at a local hardware store. The cable sprung apart like a blooming flower when dikes were used to cut it without tape. I had to try again after replacing the inner cable. On the second attempt, it was successful. Because the vacuum cruise control unit is in the way, mine has a couple of heavy bends. It appears to be in good working order (I used lithium grease to coat the cable after installation). With the Lokar aluminum throttle bracket, it's a dream come true.
The throttle cable was custom cut to perfection. I have a crate engine in my 1975 Corvette, so I needed something special to compensate for the offset carb position. There's nothing like measuring and cutting your own cable. It also appears to be quite appealing.
For my 1969 GTO, this is an excellent upgrade. br>It's simple to set up and use.
Initially, I experimented with a low-cost option. The throttle cable was inexpensive, but it binds and is unreliable. I wish I'd bought it first because the quality is so much better. I would purchase this item again.
Everything went smoothly, with plenty of instructions, technical support, and all materials needed for a simple installation. The performance was flawless. Make a purchase!.
This is something I should have purchased years ago.
