Questions & Answers

If this is different from the original equipment, do lines have to be bent? Does it bolt in or does it need to be rebent?

On my 1971 Pontiac I had already replaced all the lines, and this was a snap to install

There was no brake force coming from the rear when this part was on
3/5

In my '74 C20, the back brakes did not function at all when this part was first installed. The brakes and clutch were installed by a brakes & clutch company It is a shop that aligns vehicles. I returned it for a replacement that works, but it cost me $180 in labor, $85 to have the second one installed, and $84 to have the brakes bled again. The replacement was $240 and the cost of labor was $180. In my opinion, it is kind of insulting that I have to suffer through a faulty part for which they should have performed a test, and I wouldn't be surprised if they sent me the defective one that someone else returned. It is my hope that no one else is In the end, though, I did find a working one.

This part was installed by a trusted shop in my '75 Cheyenne and there was no fluid getting to the back brakes at all. I can't even return it.
