In what range is the diameter of the inside of Currently, I have a motorcycle brake line with diameter of 1/4" rough. It looks like it might work, but I want to know for sure. ?

My experience was to fasten 3/16 brake line. They worked well. 1/4 "" I'm not certain how they would work.

Is it possible to use these clips on a 1500 silverado brake Monday?

There's a good chance that the braking lines on the Silverado will fit 3/16". You can check your lines with a quarter-inch open end wrench. If it fits loosely over the line, most likely the line is 3/16 and these clips will work fine.

What type of metal are they made of?

The SS is what I think they are. After an average of a year, they do not exhibit signs of rust.

Can you tell me how big the mounting hole is?

An oval hole forms the bottom of the hole. Ninety-three percent of the hole is higher than the bottom hole.

While I haven't used them yet, I checked and they fit the lines well. It's a sturdy clip, nothing flimsy about it. I am pleased with the insulation and am sure it will remain in place. I could have made the mounting holes smaller if they were a quarter-inch smaller, but that would have been okay for my prose. There is no need for a bolt that big on a small tube, but a washer will fix the problem. The packaging was good and the price was competitive. I am very happy with the items. They arrived promptly, were well packaged, and arrived quickly. I appreciate your kind words.

I am pleased with the result so far! This product does exactly what its description says it will, and I ended up getting self-tapping screws which made the installation a breeze

However, my only complaint is that I feel they are "cheap", but, realistically speaking, they can not cost more than what they are. I think the price of a buck per piece is very steep when we pay only 3 cents each.

A rubber coating that looks nice

I love the rubber coating on these, all the other clips with a piece of rubber stuck in look funny, and it looks as if those might not last. These seem to be holding up The price is also super cheap.
