The situation is fine. As for the seating, I am not too concerned with it for the price. I have an 03 taco and when it is installed, it doesn't seat properly. This is formed in the way that it should be. Since salt and rust are a factor, I'll probably seal it in some way. Having lived here for several years, I can tell you these don't last here, at least due to the weather system. Additionally, designate a way to reinforce the areas that are highly stressed during the working day. Dropping a hundred for one is also not going to happen to me. It all depends on what you understand your relationship with your vehicle to be. Unless it is obvious, mines can be used as tools.
Suitable for those with a broken Toyota Tacoma tailgate handle from the 1st generation of the vehicle. I was very pleased with the ease of installation. All moving parts on the replacement handle and the interior of the tailgate need to be greased to ensure that it will work properly. The cost of one OEM replacement handle is still cheaper than 10 of these handles!.
A mounting bolt would have been a nice addition to this handle. It would seem that most people buying this part are replacing broken or corroded parts. It would have been nice to have two mounting bolts included rather than having to reuse the old ones, which were pretty well rusted into the old nuts. And as for the nuts, they are not hex heads, so it is hard to grip them without ripping them apart. In any case, make sure to carefully remove the old bolts so that they may be reused. As far as the handle is concerned, it is of excellent quality and will easily last another 15 years.
Direct bolt on. I ordered this for my 2000 Toyota Installing the device was simple and no issues were encountered. It was simply bolted into place as it was designed to be.
If you wish to use the original bolts, you must use those. I hope they are OK for you as well. I was a bit concerned when I saw that it was not as rugged as OEM handles, but it still works fine.
The price was reasonable.
I couldn't be happier with this fit for my 2003 In just 10 minutes, we had the old one out and a brand new one in. This is the first time my tailgate has been opened in a long time. My only wish is that it would have had more metal pieces on the inside rather than As of right now, it will have to do. Please accept my sincere apologies.
It does what it's supposed to do. The system appears to be working well so far. To eliminate any possibilities of corrosion from the panel, I sprayed it with WD40 before reinstalling it. In case the first set should break, I bought a second. The price is still cheaper than buying one oem from the.
There's a tiny bit of plastic seam on the handle that rubs and prevents it from sitting completely down. With some fine sandpaper, I smoothed it down, and now it works perfectly.
