Yes, it is possible!
If it's within the 18-inch range, it's acceptable. It would fit in the 21 JL if it was a 20 JL. Same Jeep
As long as the lug nut holes are aligned, I believe you could. The wiring is simple and is not unique to Jeep.
No, it isn't going to happen. For one thing, the center hole is too small, and the connections aren't the same. On my 2020, I couldn't make it work. The copper wire is not exposed to oxygen in any way.

So it took me a little longer than 15 minutes, but it wasn't too bad. I have a 2018 JLU and wanted to get rid of the stock third brake light completely. To do so, remove the spare tire, disconnect the third brake light, and then remove the spare tire carrier to free up the wire holding the annoying plastic piece in place. You'll have a black wire and a white/green striped wire after removing the connector from the stock light; use scotch locks to connect the black to black and the red to the white/green. Using scotch locks will allow you to connect this without cutting any wires and will keep the stock connector in place in the event that you need to reconnect the old unit. Wrap the extra wire in zip ties and use electrical tape to seal the connections to keep water out.
I placed an order for a plug-and-play spare tire light. Apart from a few minor issues, the installation went smoothly. I believe the updated model included a jacket that wrapped around the positive and negative wires. The wire became too thick to fit easily inside the stock third brake light bracket as a result of this. It fit a lot better after I took some of it off. Also, the "plug and play" connector was far too large to allow the 3rd brake light housing to close properly, so I cut it off and soldered the wires together to make more room inside the housing. Overall, given the price, I can't complain, and it appears to be of reasonable quality.
There are no installation instructions included with this product, nor is there a link to any that are available. A visit to their website yields no results as well. The light has bare stripped wires that must be spliced into an existing lighting system, but WHERE do you start? HOW? I don't want to cut into my Jeep's wiring or drill holes in the tailgate because it's only been a month. I'm very sorry I purchased this item. This useless device is a waste of time and money.
To begin with, the item arrived in just two days. Second, it's simple to install by slicing into the top brake light wire, as shown in the pictures. The long screws are indicated by the highlighted circles. I appreciate the product's high quality and the fact that it is completely watertight. As seen in the video, the light is very bright and synced with the other brake lights.
The tires will either block the factory brake light or leave insufficient clearance for the third brake light, in my opinion. br>br>Only criticism; The wires on this light ring are too thick to fit through the space provided on the factory third brake light bracket, so the figment isn't perfect. I carved out some extra space with my dremel for a quick fix.
If you're looking for a great addition to your jeep that adds a little more light, this product does the job and looks great at the same time. The only installation suggestion I would make is that if you can't splice wires or if you've never done it before, don't try it or hire someone who can. You don't want to accidentally cut the wires you're splicing together because they're so small.
It's a fantastic product that's also simple to put together.
You get your wife jeep stuff for Christmas if she says she wants it. Very simple to set up, performs as expected, and appears to be of high quality. The only difference I've noticed is that it moves the spare tire set away from the mount. As a result, even though the camera picks up a small portion of the rim, I still give it a 5. Because I had an aftermarket bumper, I had to use a different wiring harness. Yes, it quickly became clogged.
