The Silverado 1500 I own is a 1999 model. It appears that the Silverado can be found in two styles I am not sure what years apply. The parts department at my local Chevy dealer told me my Silverado was an old style. (When I looked at the VIN number), they said that it was an There is no replacement for the old style for Chevy. Unlike the old style, this light will not fit the back of the lamp, because the lamps had three cutouts in the roof. The truck bed lights are mounted in two smaller round parts, which are outside the truck bed, and there is one larger oval part for the brake lights. I believe all the lights on Amazon are for the new style of truck, including this part. This light has a triangular shaped cover that combines the light of all three points. Silversdo's modern style has a unique opening that fits the newer one. As such, I will have to, once again, make my existing light work.
The reverse lights are actually the cargo lights and do not have rear lights

I really like it. Previously I had old lights that I switched out The smoked lens instantly captivated me, so I decided to replace all the lights in my truck with the same style. Adding this third brake light to your cargo area is a great idea. You're the best. As well as its lead.
The installation went out completely after it was installed late in August. It does not have a break light or a bed light. You can no longer return to this page. The relationship didn't last even a month. According to Amazon's page, this product comes with a warranty of one year.
Light does not work on the cargo area it was just plug and play with other lights working but new one did not work the cargo light part did not work.
The one on my Chevy Silverado is a 2005. I am stunned. I was skeptical of this in light of these circumstances. Especially when it comes to the brightness. Compared to other lights I've used in the past. That light is stunning, but holy Damn I'm impressed. The led looks very clean and clear. In the middle is a red brake light. A glow was visible at the back of my truck and I was amazed. This is a great place to camp.

As others have said, the LEDs do not have a great deal of brightness. It is likely that the bed light works (barely), but the brake light in the center appears to have about the brightness of a standard running lamp and not even close to a brake light. The gasket fits well, is easy to install, and the installation is straightforward.

The 3rd brake light and cargo lamp is not a backup reverse light, it is simply a third brake light. How dim it was was a disappointment to me. Because of the glowing reviews and the fact that it is an LED, I assumed it would be a great investment. Compared with the stock light, I don't think it is any brighter, and I am disappointed that reverse is not integrated into the light. As stated right in the title, this is a reverse light, but that is not the case. Make sure you are careful when buying.
