Switch on the boat with this switch. About four or five times it worked as it should. When I got out in the middle of the lake for the sixth time and tried to start the motor, nothing happened. I was able to trace the problem back to the switch, which is fortunate because I always bring a few tools on our boating trips. We're off and running now that the switch has been removed from the equation.
The video shows instructions on a paper for installing on a boat with two batteries. I did not receive this and instead received a small piece of paper that was difficult to read with only one set of instructions. If you cannot send me instructions on hooking up to two boat batteries, I will return it.
It's strong and well-made. This switch is connected to a charge controller and used on solar panels. This should suffice.
The presence of a 12 volt shut-off switch near the camper van door was extremely useful.
After you've mounted it, you'll need to caulk the holes. Otherwise, everything is as it should be. It is very simple to set up.
This was a direct replacement for a unit on my ship that had failed. I'd suggest it to a friend.
It works well and provides a safety feature by allowing the batteries to be cut off.
Not a good idea. At 150 amps and 12 volts, the device fried. Not a good idea.
