It might be possible, but it would be excessive. A 20 amp toggle switch is all that is required for a coil shutoff. These are designed for high-amperage applications, such as in a motorhome, where the electric power is completely destroyed.

I had underestimated how big it was. Because the solenoid on the riding mower had apparently stuck closed, I had to disconnect the battery to keep the engine from turning over, so I bought a push button switch. I'd never encountered this problem before and had no idea it could occur. I bought this switch to use as a disconnect, but after receiving it, I realized that it could also be used as a starter or crank switch without fully closing it in the on position and then using it as the ignition/crank switch instead, because it appears to have a spring/return open position. As a result, I was able to bypass the solenoid and key the ignition switch. Run and off will continue to be controlled by the ignition switch. I recently purchased another for a test bench that I needed for repairing and testing used engines for my riding mowers.
Mine is being used as a master battery switch on a piece of equipment that is used to power incubators in a nursery for premature babies. The equipment caught fire (due to an electrical short) before the switch was flipped, killing all of the children. Some of my customers were irritated to the point of indignation. We now have no electrical shorts, fewer unexpected fires, and the current batch of premature babies appears to be doing fine thanks to this low-cost switch.
Although my travel trailer has its own master shutoff switch, I noticed that the battery in my trailer was draining while it was being stored. I followed the wires from the battery as far as I could along the frame rail until they vanished into the trailer, and discovered that several of them branched off before reaching the trailer cutoff switch. Something seemed to be causing a drain in front of the trailer's switch. I bought a second battery cable and attached it to the battery directly. It was mounted close to the hitch. There's no question that the trailer is no longer connected to the battery.
This is a high-quality, well-made product. On my Bentley Mulsanne, I changed the battery cutoff switch. The fact that this switch's quality was better than the original astounded me! There will be no plastic! The entire structure is made of metal. br> I would strongly suggest this product!! If you're looking for a unique way to.
According to the specifications.
I had to wait for these after getting a quote at a parts store. As a result, I did some research and discovered these. They arrived quickly and were exactly what I was looking for at a fraction of the cost of the other option. I'll be placing another order with them. Thank you.
It does what you'd expect it to do, and it's been working perfectly for a few months.
For the past few months, I've been using it. Because it's mounted on a crawler/backhoe, it's subjected to a lot of vibrations. It is in excellent condition and shows no signs of wear.
