Do you think this will work on a 1971 Chrysler ?

The wires are just wires, that's all. Please let me know if you disagree. They will work fine as long as they take that type of wire.

Is this going to fit over the headers of a 71 chevelle with a SBC? A hei dist. cap gives me the ability to use the ends. ?

It's true I have them on a 1987 firebird with SBC headers, and they work great. However, you must purchase the wire protectors in order to prevent the wires from melting due to heat from the headers.

I would buy these again. One set of the previous MSD had been melted right next to the header and I replaced it with another set.
