Although it is of good quality, brass would be preferable
3/5

This was purchased to go with my Holley 4150 770 CFM Aluminum Street Avenger. I'm using a 1970 LT-clone to run it. 1 Z- Fueling system in the style of 28 br>br>The fitting is well-made and appears to be quite stylish. As we'd expect from Holley, the machine work is of the highest quality. br>br>My problem is that I'd prefer it to be brass. It has a tendency to stick to the flare nut and then break free from the carb before breaking free from the flare nut. This wouldn't normally be an issue, but I can't get anything in there to hold it still because of the limited access for wrenches on these Holleys. Instead, I'll have to disconnect the other end of the fuel line and spin everything out. This is something I've had to do before. And every time, I make sure to tighten it a little more into the aluminum and gently tighten the flare nut into it just enough to keep it from leaking. This is not the best situation. Perhaps next time (and I hate to even suggest this for a fuel system), I'll use a little Loctite on the carb threads and a little anti-seize on the anti-seize. Grasp the flare nut with your fingers. The brass version appears to be more difficult to come by, but I'll keep looking.

NOT SUITABLE FOR 9/16-INCHES It has 24 threads and is much larger than the description suggests
3/5

The item is not as described, and it lacks the 9/16-inch diameter. It has a total of 24 threads and is threaded at 7/8-inch intervals. 20 and isn't compatible with some Holley carburetors. I'll have to send it back and come up with another solution for my setup.

This item is for float bowls that have a 7/8-inch inlet
3/5

There are 20 threads in total. There are 9/16-inch holes in this item. There are 24 threads in total. This is not the case. It has a 7/8-inch diameter. There are 20 threads in total. The fitting is fine if your float bowl has the larger inlet, but it's useless with the 9/16-inch inlet. It has a total of 24 inlets.
