The stars are five, except for one
3/5

Platti dip appears to be the same product and in the same container also, it lacks proper sealing like it has Plasti Dip, get in here! Your D*** lid needs to be fixed. You make more money selling to people like me, who buy a fresh can, use a little, put it on the shelf, then come back after three months and find they have a tube of tar that does nothing but contribute to our environmental problem. As such, if I need a little extra to work with another tool, I just buy a whole new can, burn a little, and keep on going. It is a pretty good product. Once you have dipped your tool, let it sit for a few days for a more thorough (read thorough) cleaning. It is important that the plastic is cured for a long time. You don't want to have to use your dips out of your can too often with a timeclock, of course. There's a chance I've made a mistake there. It would have been better if I had done a lousy job so I could coat it more frequently before it dried. In order to bypass the loose lid problem, I had my wife put it through her food vacuum packer this time. We'll see how it goes.

It's a good product, but I would like to see a better price
4/5

I really like the way it works, and it lives up to its reputation, but it's a little pricey given how much is inside the The product should be put in a can with a larger hole because I found I had to transfer it from one container to another in order to dip it, and transferring it from one container to another takes up a lot of product since it doesn't have that much inside. Even though the can is not full, please put it in a wider mouth can.

Although it has some uses, I don't find it to be that useful
3/5

I had not anticipated how thin the product would be. use this to seal up the spout of caulk tubes so the contents would not dry out, so I dipped the ends of the tubes in it for sealing. That hasn't yet been a part of my experiments. It did not work on a pair of pliers, but it worked on the handles. As the coating was thin, I was able to dip the handles four times over a few hours. However, I expected a much thicker coating than what I received. The whole thing was an experiment based on Since I now have it, I haven't been able to figure out how I'm going to use it.

The spray is easy to use, is non-toxic, and leaves a nice coating on surfaces
4/5

The nails I had left over were used to make shelf pins. It's always been a challenge for me to put shelf pins on shelves, and I am making a Because my wife insists on having adjustable shelves, I needed sturdy shelf pins, but the ones I could find nowhere were too fragile. In order to attach the shelf to my bookcase, I drilled holes in the walls that just accept 16 penny nails. I dipped the heads (with part ground off to allow for space on the shelf) with the nails. In addition to Even if no one actually sees them, they look great with dip. Also, I used black, which makes it hard to see on the already dark background The underside of a shelf is dark. It works like a charm, and there is no danger of these shelves collapsing.

The loops on Jeep Hoods are easily refurbished with this
5/5

This is what I used to refurbish my Jeep Wrangler's footman hood loops. They did not want to purchase new rubber coatings as the original rubber coat had worn off. It's as good as new with four deeps 30 minutes apart! I can't speak to the durability of the product, however the initial result is remarkable. I would like to post photos but Amazon wants to take over my camera and storage. Why does Amazon need to take control of my photos? The guerrilla attempt to take data from Amazon was less than stellar.

This is great, but it depends on how you plan to use it
5/5

Although I tried to use it with a roller, it did not work because it dried too fast, I did try depthening tools as well as waiting for them to dry the result is spectacular even with a single application. In addition, I don't recommend using it if you are short on time to work with the product, as it dries very quickly It is better to buy the spray if you are going to apply it to a large surface.
