Applying this without a good primer is not recommended, and the best results can be achieved with a good topcoat

It gives the appearance of a European factory finish. It can be sprayed directly from a container. This is what I use to protect my classic cars from rust and to dampen the sounds of the engine. Using this product without a good primer underneath is not recommended, and you should use a good topcoat of paint as well.
