On turns, the power steering pump in my 2007 Volvo S80 began to make groaning sounds. If you have any suspicions that a well-known person is trying to deceive you, I replaced the contaminated fluid with this product, expecting it to reduce the noise, but I was blown away when it completely eliminated it. The steering is also much more responsive, and there has been no noise for several months, so I will be using this product exclusively from now on.
The hue is closer to that of regular oil.
On cold mornings, my power steering (dexron 3 spec) became irritable. I was familiar with the 11s, BMW, Mini, Volvo, and other similar vehicles. low viscosity fluid from another vehicle with an electric power steering system Before I replaced my P/S pump, I decided to give the new fluid a try. The symptoms did not go away when I replaced the old fluid with the triax; they only appeared at much colder temperatures now.
Also, shipping fluids from Europe is much less environmentally friendly than using a local product, but it works fine.
br>br>In my Discovery, I had to replace the power steering and ACE fluid. It has silenced the pumps' whining and is performing admirably. . . at a fraction of the cost of genuine LR fluid and half the cost of other alternatives (pentosin). $11. It's a great deal at 50 cents per quart (at the case price) delivered to my door.
It's easy to spot leaks in 93 fluid after replacing gaskets because it's colored green.
I was afraid I'd need a belt or worse, which Audis are notorious for being expensive. I plugged it in and, voila, everything was quiet and smooth. I was very pleased.
After a rehab, I put this product to the test in my x5 with adaptive ride. The chf 11s, $30-$40, are required. I decided to try it because I needed to replace a lot of things (3 quarts) and it was only 40 dollars locally. So far, I haven't encountered any error codes or other problems. I'd buy it again (and will most likely do so when my system is flushed again).
