To the best of my knowledge, you have not hurt anyone. It is necessary for some European vehicles to use this type of PS fluid, since the seals in these systems are highly vulnerable to damage if they are filled with In PS systems, I suspect that this type of fluid is unaffected by seals. Here is what I found helpful, but check with the dealership service manager if you still need assistance.

My Jag fluid is at the store. It was a dirty brown color from 10 years old fluid. The use of clean dark green fluids should reduce the need for repairs in the future. I'd like to think the cost was similar to buying locally, but I didn't have to search for it in stock first.
We carry Power Steering Fluid that will work with any 2006+ Audi (as well as Porsche Cayenne (2005+), Saab (2006+), Volkswagen (2006+) & Mercedes. Volkswagen (2002 or later). The product is compatible and mixable with CHF The Swiss Franc As an update to 11S, 202 was developed.
The volume of the entire system is larger than this, but I filled and drained the reservoir twice, so I'd estimate the overall volume would go up by about 75%. An attachment to screw onto my can helped fill (and drain) the fluid. I bought the device for 7 dollars.
(Replaces the older stuff) All over the world it's what they recommend. Even made a video showing how to do it Watch my video on my YouTube channel 'Help me DIY' to see how to do it yourself.
There is a 2007 Sebring 2 in my possession. The vehicle has about 84,000 miles on it and a 7 liter engine. I broke one of the low pressure power steering hoses on my car three times during this VERY cold winter! I refilled the steering wheel with a high performance royal purple power steering product and the same thing happened. After doing some research on cold weather fluid, this is great down to - F The temperature is 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Currently, we are experiencing warmer temperatures so we'll see how it performs as the weather warms up. I'm hoping that since the hoses are rated for colder temperatures, I won't have to change them as often since they are rated for colder temps.
My sincere thanks.
Power steering is an important part of your vehicle. Do your research and make sure it has what you need. When I was trying to determine whether I needed Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) or synthetic fluid, I had difficulty. I strongly recommend you call your dealer's service department to make sure about my service manual.
