This is the proper fluid to use.
Yes, you certainly can. The power steering system in an Altima 2 is very similar to that of a Nissan Altima. A 5S and a Maxima 3 are included in the package. 5 SE. 999MP- 999MP- 999MP- 999MP- 999MP- AGOOOP will not harm or damage your vehicle in any way. I am confident in the item.
I believe it will work.br>Make sure you don't have any red fluid.br>
If it says to use dexron, do so. Nissan fluid only, according to my 2004 Xterra. If you don't use the right fluid, your pump will break down.

If you don't want to waste hours of your life looking for a cheaper alternative and then second-guessing your decision, this is the stuff to get. br>br>One 12 oz container is enough to drain and refill the reservoir 3 1/4 times.
The amount in each bottle varies; the first bottle had less, and the first bottle didn't even reach the neck of the bottle. I was about an ounce short, so I had my wife order another bottle from the same seller, which arrived half-filled. We would not have needed the second bottle if we had gotten the first one first. With the price of this stuff for the small size, you'd think you'd get the full amount and not have to buy another bottle for an oz.
OEM Nissan / Infiniti parts are the way to go. By draining the reservoir with a siphon and repeating the process about three times over the course of a few weeks, I was able to easily replace the old fluid in my Infiniti G37. In my vehicle, I would never consider using anything other than OEM Nissan power steering fluid.
I gave it three stars because of the price; I didn't do enough research and discovered that any dex iii or mercon automatic transmission fluid can be used, allowing you to get a gallon of nice synthetic for under $20. That is, at least, how my Nissan Altima feels.
For rides and quality, OEM is the way to go. I haven't used it yet, but it will come in handy for my Z soon. I'm confident it'll keep it steering smoothly in the future.
When a manufacturer specifies their own fluids, I don't take any chances with generics. This was a reasonably priced Nissan product that was still covered by the manufacturer's warranty and performed admirably.
The fluid color is Red and the product is OEM Nissan. When installed, it performs just like the original OEM Fluid. It took over a week for Amazon Prime shipping to arrive.
This was used to replace my vehicle's old, black Power Steering fluid. I haven't had any moans or groans while turning in over a month since using this product. br>br>Highly recommend. I will purchase this item again if necessary.
