Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this instead of Automatic Transfer Case Fluid (GM Part No. 12378396) isn't it?

Auto trak 2 is a more refined version of the original. It occurred as a result of the clutches in the transfer case grabbing. generating a commotion I've never heard of anyone having an issue with using auto trak 2 fluid instead of auto trak fluid. I hope this has been of assistance to you.

Is all ac delco auto track 2 fluid the same? The part number in my owner's manual does not match. ?

This is the correct fluid to use if and only if you have "full time" or automatic ALL WHEEL DRIVE; it is NOT for four wheel drive, which is a mechanically different system with a similar result. attempting to ascend a snow-covered incline This is what I put in my 2000 Olds Bravada. The fluid I drained was a darker blue, but it was still the same color. About 12 or 15 years ago, I believe GM updated or changed the part number for the old fluid. Before purchasing this fluid, I conducted extensive online research to ensure that it was the correct fluid for "automatic" all-wheel drive.

Is this something that could be done in 2007? Duramax with a thickness of five millimeters?

Although it should work in the transfer case, I'd double-check with the dealer's parts department. It's a 1500 truck for me. Your Duramax's transfer case could be a separate unit that uses a different fluid.

Is this a Chinese-made item?

It's a product of the Canadian manufacturing industry.

Cadillac Escalade, model year 2003
5/5

After doing some research, I discovered that the Auto Trak II Blue Fluid was used in my 2003 Escalade Transfer Case. It is, in fact, Smurf Blue. It was simple to drain the old fluid and pour in the new one. It took me exactly 20 minutes to complete this task. The majority of it involved parking on level ground and crawling beneath it to get to the transfer case. After a few miles of driving, everything appears to be in working order. If there was any difference, it was that there was less noise when driving at highway speeds. It wasn't always this quiet, but now it is. Most likely due to the fact that the old fluid had traveled over 160,000 miles. It was secondhand when I got it. Every 50,000 miles or so, I strongly advise you to change your transfer case oil. Overall, the Delco Smurf Juice has a positive impact on me.

Smurf juice from a 2005 Chevy Suburban z71
5/5

Excellent smurf juice. I drained and replaced the transfer case fluid. I had to do it twice, about 100 miles apart, after picking up my 2005 suburban in October 19 and driving it off-road several times. I decided to service everything and discovered regular ATF in the transfer case, which smelled like hell, so I did a full change, ran it 100 miles, and replaced it again. I checked it and it's holding up well after 500 miles, and it's still blue and clean. After removing the ATF, the room became noticeably quieter. 4x shifting that is silky smooth. It is, without a doubt, the most effective method.

Packaging is fantastic! Make sure to use the Auto- If your GM transfer case calls for it, Trak II fluid is what you'll need
5/5

It's not expensive, and my research on various forums confirmed that sticking to the original fluid is the best option. I strongly advise getting a pump for the job because it's a pain if you don't; there are inexpensive fluid pumps that screw onto the bottle and work great. It was excellent in terms of packaging. The bottles were individually wrapped in plastic wrap when they arrived. Also, if your drain and/or fill bolts are rounded, replace them to avoid further rounding or stripping. Aluminum is a softer metal than steel. However, don't try to get another metal! After doing some research, I came to the conclusion that aluminum bolts were the way to go.

There's a new fruity grape scent, a new formula, and a new color! Just kidding, but there is a good reason for the color change
5/5

With the Auto Track I, my New Process covered 85,000 miles. The II, I believe, follows a similar pattern. They changed the color because transmission fluid can leak into the transfer case on some vehicles, and they were both pinkish red. If your transfer case fluid turns purple when you combine red and blue, you've got a leak. Anyone who has ever mixed paints, pigments, or dyes knows that a little red goes a long way, so a small leak will turn this fluid purple, alerting you to the problem before the transfer case overflows. Smooth shifts, with a slight delay into 4 low, but that's to be expected. 4 Auto and 4 Hi 2 Hello there, everyone. I'm fine shifting.

The blue fluid in the clutch type transfer case in GM 4x4s, such as my 1999 Tahoe, is called transfer case juice
5/5

I bought three quarts and spent an hour draining what came out of the drain hole. I was only able to get 2 quarts back in, so you might only need 2. I don't mind having a quart spare because of the low price. My fluids are now color-coded as a result of this. Transfer case is blue, transmission is red, antifreeze is green, motor oil is amber, and power steering fluid is clear.

My NP246 has been rebuilt
5/5

I rebuilt my NP246, filled it with 2 quarts of new fluid, and it's ready to go. I'm pretty sure it's just a case of the blues. ATF is colored blue on purpose to help you spot a leak (transfer case vs. transmission of information). Visually inspecting the fluid has never allowed me to detect a leak because it's always messed up by the time you notice it, but whatever. It's not that expensive, and it's exactly what GM recommends.

The only option for changing Transfer Case Fluid in a 2009 GMC Envoy is to use ACDelco quality
5/5

For a 2009 GMC Envoy SLT, I6, 4 x 4, this is the only option for replacing the Transfer Case Fluid. Although a little pricey for petroleum-based gear fluid, purchasing it on Amazon appears to be less expensive than going to the Parts Department. , or at a G. Chevrolet Dealership near you. Automobile dealership; However, it was only a few dollars, so it wasn't a significant difference.
