I'm sure it's possible to mix them, but why would you want to? I've been using it for about a year and a half now. 140 wt. It's been 20 years and it's still going strong! I go 5000 miles between changes, but I'm sure you could easily go 10,000, because when I change at 5000, it looks brand new, nice, and red. In the late 1990s, Harley issued a memo to mechanics because some dressers were making too much back-and-forth noise. It said to lash in gears and to use Bel- Ray 85- 140 wt. oil.
It's what I use in my 1200, and it works great in both up and down shifts. I've got another quart on the shelf waiting for the next change.
No, I've had this on all of my Harleys since the 2005 Road King Classic. The bike I'm riding now is a 2019 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Standard with excellent transmission fluid. As a result, this will work fine in your bicycle.

This transmission grease is fantastic! My bike was fitted with a large big bore kit that produces 145 torque, and this is what the custom cycle shop uses. I sort of ignored it, figuring I'd just put Amsoil back in when I got home. I was pleasantly surprised when I put it in first gear to test ride it because there was no clunk! "That's that Bel-Air," the engine builder said, referring to my expression. I told you about Ray oil, didn't I? When downshifting into first, there is no gear whine. I've made my decision. This is something I'm going to use from now on. It's hard to believe there's so much transmission cushion.

Shifts are buttery smooth on this bike. In my tranny, there will be no more Lucas or Amsoil. I also like Red Line Tranny oil with Shockproof because it works just as well. . . Which is better? I'm not convinced they're equally good.
to transmission fluid for my Harley-Davidson motorcycles It's something I've been using for a long time. Shifting gears is a breeze. There was also no noise or whine in the transmission. I'm a traditionalist who dislikes using 20 watt bulbs. For each of the three locations, you will receive a total of fifty dollars. Gear oil, in my opinion, should be used when gears are involved because it provides additional anti-wear protection. Wearing additives in the appropriate fluids is a good idea. Bel- is what I use. For the same reason, Ray primary fluid in the primary. There will be less chatter and the operation will run more smoothly.
This is an excellent Harley transmission oil. While shifting, it removes about 95% of the loud and notchy "CLUNK" from the shifter . Especially when the engine is cold and shifting into first gear, Bel Ray oils are always excellent, and this is no exception. Shaffers and Redline are two other oils that work well, but they are a little more expensive. I've tried a few others, and this one is my new favorite for the price.
This lubricant is fantastic. It doesn't degrade in the heat and cushions gear engagement for long-term gear and brng wear.
The clunk of a Harley shift was bothering me. There was a brand name in it that I didn't recognize. Pepto-Bismol is a pink Pepto-Bismol. I'd never been so quiet in my life. I decided to give it a shot after gathering information from a few Harley mechanics and transmission experts. And wow. There was no clunk as you moved from neutral to first. At first, I thought it didn't go in first. My shifts were smooth and didn't have a loud clunk while I was riding. This is a fantastic product that I will be incorporating into my street glide from now on.
