Product Description

It is specifically designed to remove waterless coolant from the cooling system before installing new ones
The old coolant and water left on an engine after it has been drained of antifreeze/water mixture is removed.
It is especially useful when blocked drains cannot be removed or if block drains cannot be removed. It ensures that the final water content after Evans Waterless Coolant is within the operating range
Cooling system metals are protected during flushing, but Evans Waterless Coolants should not be substituted for it

Questions & Answers

The difference between NPG+ Coolant and NPG+ C is how does it differ?

Diesel engines with NPG + are suitable for heavy duty applications while diesel engines with NPG +C are suitable for lighter duty For my sports car, I went with + C.

If I were to replace the existing coolant(with water) on my birt bike with this prep fluid, would it be necessary?

No, you will need to remove the engine block as well as drain the prep fluid. If the Evans is to work properly, there can be no water left in the system!

Is there a formula I should follow for calculating how much prep fluid to use?

The method you choose depends on the size of the system and how well you drain out the old coolant. To get me started, I followed recommendations from the manufacturer- It was on Evans' website where I got After I replaced a snomobile with a new unit, I only used maybe 1/2 gallons of prep in a system that used two Due to the fact that the old coolant was able to be drained pretty well, I used less than recommended. Next, used compressed air to chase the prep fluid through it so that the water would be captured. I am hoping that it won't have to be put to the test on an overheated motor and far so good so far.

This can be used to prep another engine if it is drained and reused?

If you plan on draining and reusing prep fluid, you're in luck At least one, and possibly two other conversions will continue to be performed. As a result of repeated use, the solution will dilute and become less effective. Depending on how much water, or old coolant has been absorbed by the Prep Fluid, this may be a judgement call.

The tank has a temperature rating of 375 degrees at zero pressure

A waterless coolant by Evan Possible solutions? The following are the egria rates for these countries. Cavitation is the formation of bubbles of gas I did make the plunge into Evan's waterless coolant after seeing the corrosion of the oil cooler exchanger / radiator. In my efforts to remediate 6, I have been looking into various options. There are problems with the 4L. In my plans, I was going to convert the EGR to an Routing the oil filter bypass hoses through the egr is most basic. A superior idea would be to use oil instead of coolant, which would have fewer corrosion and electrolytic concerns. I planned to install a free air oil cooler and get away from the coolant oil exchange system. The cooling system has already been back flushed, and I have a coolant filter to catch debris that has fallen into the cooling system. In the meantime, let me ask you a question. No one has yet developed a coolant system that uses waterless technology. In my mind, I wanted to use an oil that is used in go karts running on alcohol. I believe that this is the thinnest and highest temp rated oil I have ever seen. The bottle costs 20 bucks a quart and is probably too heavy to use a coolant I found evan's waterless coolant while searching for it online. As it is waterless, there are no bubbles due to vaporizing coolant, which means it eliminates cavitation. The tank has a temperature rating of 375 degrees at zero pressure. This means it will freeze over time, creating corrosion in the egr, cavitation in the coolant pump, corrosion in the coolant exchange, and corrosion in the radiator. It will also help prevent head gasket failures and cracked heads/cylinder ways since there will be no vaporization. High power transfers at high HP will be facilitated by the lack of vaporization. My gut told me this was too good to be true, so I had to give it a try. The clean-up took about an hour thanks to 8 gallons of prep fluid and 8 gallons of heavy duty evans coolant and about 8 gallons of prep fluid. In other words, I don't have a waterless cooling The only con is that it is of no use to egr, radiator, oil exchange, water pump, etc. * * * * * The only con is that it is not useful for desiels. The pro is that it's free. The only the difference between Evan's waterless coolant and 50/50 mix is that the Evan's coolant is less efficient. The metal in your engine will heat up by 10 degrees as a result. A boost in combustion is good for desiels since it reduces emissions and improves combustion. This has resulted in an increase of at least 10% in MPG. A bit pricey. There was a cost of 600 bucks involved. There is a warranty on the coolant, but it is not lifetime. And now that I'm cleaning up my coolant filter, it's probably going to be fine. Thus, my list of six remaining issues with no resolution is as follows. Despite 4 problems, the number is steadily decreasing. I know it's going to be a good day. I would like to talk to you before you start talking about deletes. Keep in mind. The annual safety inspections in my city include checking emissions during the annual safety inspections. They both probe exhausts on the sides of the road and check for removed emissions control system components. It doesn't make sense for me to pay 1400 dollars for being a carefree spirit, and yes, I have been stopped on the side of the road several Rather than go there, let us move on. I therefore give Evan's waterless coolant a thumbs up. This is what it looks like.

Exactly what you need

Having been a fan of Evans products since 2010, I am glad to be able to recommend them. In addition to keeping my motorcycle cool, coolants also improve engine performance Houston, TX, kept its vehicles cool during the summer heat wave in 2011. Thankfully the coolant saved the day when the cooling fan in my vehicle failed to work. During the summer, my thermometer did not go over normal range even once. Evans Prep Fluid will ensure all of the existing coolant has been spent and broken down before adding to the new coolant As soon as Evans Coolant is added, it will not affect its properties. Several of Evan's products were featured on Ford's Garage on Jay Leno. Evans Coolant is a lifetime fluid, so once you switch to it, you will never have to flush again.

Your engine will not stay cooler with this
3/5

While it lives up to its claim, it still does not live up to expectations. This is expensive! Be sure to carry an extra gallon of water if you have a leak. It is impossible to add water to this evans! In my opinion, and in the opinion of others, this product would lower the The final result is that the boiling point is INCREASED. If I read the fine print, all it does is increase It's a good product, but I want my engine to run cooler. Consequently, I switched back to using "Wetter Water" in combination with distilled water for my Boss Hoss motorcycle. A radiator filled with distilled water will keep the minerals out.

Since Jay Leno's garage gave it a good review, I replaced all the hoses on my 2001 Corolla, prepared the system with this, and then applied I've had it for 17 years in different vehicles without a problem. Jay has it in multiple cars.

Worked for me
5/5

It took about an hour for the remainder of the water to evaporate once the block was exposed to the Texas heat. Although the Jeep book says it takes 3 1/2 gallons, only 2 1/4 of the time was spent preparing. Although it was a good thing I did since I had 2% water after the cooling system was installed. It would be enough to prepare a couple more vehicles.

A switch from 50/50 coolant to Evans is required. Here are some ideas for using this stuff This is in-between. To avoid having to deal with disposal, I hired a shop to do the job.
