This coolant is great and lasts for a long time

By Shell Oil Company's own account, this coolant lasts a long time and requires no additives until the second No silicates are present in the solution. Amazon offers it easily, but doesn't seem to be part of the big box stores' selection. Cummins is the manufacturer of my engine, so I used it on it.

A lot of mileage and age caused the orange coolant in the Motorcraft to need to be flushed out. I had to change my coolant because Motorcraft no longer sells the orange stuff. Reviews indicate this is a good alternative. So far, coolant temperatures seem to be good, but more results will be needed. The color red (the texture is rough).
