That's correct.
The actual weight of the item is 635 grams, or about 1. 4 pounds.
Probably because it simply goes around your neck and has a strap and buckle system that allows it to be worn with a variety of items.
I don't see why not; this is a neck-protecting device designed for use while riding. It's comfortable and adjustable, which I need for desert racing on quads. I hope this information is useful.

The back of the collar touches the back of your neck and is 1" thick (rounding where it contacts your neck, reducing the contact surface area even more), but it protrudes *more than 3". 5 inches* from your neck's back. This means that if you land on your back on a hard surface with your chin forward, the entire force of the impact will be concentrated in your neck, over a contact area that is narrower vertically than a single vertebra. Your helmet will be thrown back against the same impact surface, but if the impact is strong enough, your neck could easily be shattered and/or your spinal cord severed by the time the helmet hits. br>br>I have no doubt that this collar can prevent some injuries (particularly the egregious kind in which your head is violently pushed backwards, folding your neck backwards in a way that your neck was not designed to do, and frequently resulting in a broken neck), but let me reiterate: LANDING ON THE COLLAR ON A HARD SURFACE WITH YOUR HEAD FORWARD COULD RESULT IN YOU BECOMING A PARAPLEGIC. br>br>The fix for this would be to dramatically increase the width of the collar's contact point with your neck, and to make it stick out much less than it does now, while still catching the back of the helmet when necessary.
I am 5 foot 11 200 pounds with a 50 inch chest and it does not fit me comfortably at all. I am too thick from Spohn to sternum it sets up way too high it is definitely made for a skinnier guy even on the wireless settings it is not bill for someone with a large upper body go with the foam caller from EVS much cheaper and fits better if you or B I am 5 foot 11 200 pounds with a 50 inch chest and it does not fit me comfortably at all.
This is my second purchase of an EVS collar. It appears to be of good quality and fits comfortably. My "okay" rating is based on the quality of the pin used to adjust the rear support, which broke at the theads in an attempt to remove the pin to adjust the support, a feature of the collar. The pin appears to have been made of brass or another soft metal, then blackened. Instead of returning the item, I decided to replace the pin with a stainless bolt.
a year old who rides motocross on a regular basis My son doesn't seem to be bothered by any restrictions on his mobility. The product appears to have an effective design that would reduce the risk of breaking a collar bone or injuring his neck/spine; however, it does not hold position well, which is why I did not give it five stars. The R4 Race Collar can slide up and down and has a strap system that works like a loose bra. back over time, allowing the front of the neck to get closer to the throat I've decided to come up with a more permanent and effective mounting solution for this collar, which we use with a Fox Chest Protector. The collar would not ride up if two straps at the front of the collar were pulled down and snapped onto the abdominal area of his chest protector. br>br>Again, my son is unconcerned, but every time he comes in for a rest, I find myself pulling back at the front.
This was purchased as a karting neck brace. I bought a Valhalla 360 Plus and wasn't happy with the build quality or the need for underarm straps, so I decided to try this collar. The high build quality and construction caught my attention right away. It was simple to put on, comfortable, and light when I tried it on. I was extremely disappointed when I added my helmet (Stilo ST5) to the equation. The head movement forward and backward was greatly restricted by the collar. I noticed that the collar easily slid under the edge of the helmet and made contact with my jaw when I rolled my head left and right. This worried me because a side impact could cause the helmet to miss the collar, allowing the collar to collide with my jaw, potentially injuring my jaw. This was not a problem with the Valhalla 360 or the run-of-the-mill Valhalla. the- a low-cost neck roll I decided to return the product and use my Valhalla 360 instead, despite how badly I wanted it to work. br>br>If the base was wider on the shoulders to prevent it from passing under the edge of the helmet, this product would have been ideal for me. I'd recommend this product if lateral loads and impacts aren't an issue for you.
As a result, I'm very pleased with it.
He was in a bad car accident a few months ago and was only able to walk away because of this collar. It is something that I would suggest. It comes with body straps to keep it from sliding around on his neck in the wrong direction.
I didn't even get a chance to try the product because the bolt broke while I was adjusting the height of the R4 EVS cervical collar. I was adjusting the height of the product, which was still brand new. The bolt is of poor quality. In order to use it, I need a replacement shipped to Bolivia. br>br>Also, I'm not sure if the product will work for me; When I sit in the UTV, the collar causes pain in the back of my neck. (This is why I was attempting to make changes. ).
