I strongly believe that wearing a motorcycle neck brace is essential. It's hard to believe the negligence in design that Leatt made with this molded-in brace. It's easy for this brace to shift back against your head, causing a frontal hit to break your Adams apple. Wearing a guillotine around your neck is like being hung. I also have a Leatt chest protector, and even this doesn't stop the neck brace from shifting back on impact because it has only two elastic straps that stretch quite a bit, the brace still moves pretty freely from front to back. *If you don't believe me, why not receive a copy of my book? Now put the chinbar right under your helmet and slap that with the hand right under the chin bar During the brace's application, it will immediately go into your neck / Adams apple / larynx. A helmet crash statistics shows that the chinbar of a helmet takes a hit in 12% of cases.
