With the supplied adapter, I tried hooking it up to the connectors I had unplugged from the original bulbs, but no matter how I hooked it up, it blew the fuse when I turned on the high beams. the headlamp plugged in with just the low beans plugged in for a while. The low beans really rendered plenty of light, and the headlight is fantastic whether it's My bike really got a new look after I installed the tachometer. I had to wire it into the headlight bucket when I hooked it up. My curiosity was piqued when I spotted a different 3 wire light connector that sounded just like the one on this headlight, and so I decided to give it a go. The supplied adapter is not required to hook up. There are no blown fuses! Everything works as it should! I'm not sure why there are redundant connectors on my bike, but if you have a Victory you may not need the adapter at all. In my opinion, all that's required is to clean the surface with soft cloth rags. You will snatch the lens if you use paper towels.

The light is beautiful. Excellent upgrade to my 2010 Streetglide. A bit disappointed that I did not receive the special ring adapter so I had to cut the housing for my headlights. It is a good product for me.

It is a great light but I am not sure why the firm did not add the extra wiring harness to the package since after installation, my radio reception has gotten worse and I cannot locate an order form for ordering the harness, so here is an idea-charge $20 extra. It's either $30 or $00, whichever is greater. Add the damn harness to the $99 and you're done.
