Hello, the new bracket is not required for all Harley-Davidson motorcycles. If the LED headlight can be installed with the stock/old bracket, please do so; we sent it just in case some customers needed it. If you require any additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us directly by sending a message.
It doesn't have to be more than seven inches long.
Yes, it'll work. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require installation assistance.
On my 04 Ultra Classic, I put them in. I have plenty of power, according to my voltage gauge. I'll test it with my multimeter and get back to you.

These were purchased in pairs. One is chrome, while the other is black. My wife's 2014 Fat Boy Lo has the chrome one, while my 2015 Street Glide Special has the black one. It was extremely simple to set up. After installation, I recommend double-checking the alignment of the headlights. Look for videos on how to do this on YouTube or have your mechanic do it. I installed it right before an evening ride, and it was difficult to see to get home after dark because the light was aimed so low that I could only see about 10' in front of me. I was in a hurry to get to the Harley shop before they closed, so I overlooked the headlight alignment. I can't speak to durability, but the fit and function are excellent. Neither of our bikes uses the running light, and it would have been nice to have the option to save money by only purchasing what I needed, but the price seems reasonable. There is a lot of light. These lights have a higher lumen output than the Daymaker and some of the other headlight options. I'd recommend it and purchase it again at this time. I had an issue with low and high beam not working properly at first, and I had also installed an LED, front daytime running, turn signal kit from Custom Dynamics in NC. This kit must be synced because it runs through the ECM. I followed their syncing procedure and everything appeared to be working fine with the CD LED light kit, but it did not sync correctly to allow the high and low beams of the headlight to function properly. I checked and it appeared that the harness connection that came with the headlight kit was defective, so I called customer service and they promptly sent me a replacement harness, no questions asked. After I re-installed the headlight, it turned out to be fine. After the headlights were installed, the ECM was synced. The ECM didn't seem to recognize the new LED headlight properly because I installed the DTR, turn signal kit first and synced it before installing the headlight. Although this was not a defect in the headlight, it provided me with the opportunity to experience this company's excellent customer service. I'd buy it again and would recommend it to others.
Updated on April 27th, 2021: I've only ridden this bike for about 500 miles, and only twice at night since installing the Headlight Kit. When I started the bike last night, the lights were "shaking and flashing," which turned out to be one of the LEDs in the right side passing/fog lamp wobbling around in the housing. I tapped the lamp housing with the engine turned off, and the LED inside began to shake. This is not a good situation. I'm going to reduce my star rating to three. Advantages: br>br> Cons: Looks great and has a lot of lighting. br> The prongs on the headlight connector were too long to fit into the original wiring connector on the bike, so I had to cut it off and replace the socket on the bike. br>On most HD's, you'll have to make something to clamp the outer trim ring to. Because the headlamp's mounting hardware was too thin when it arrived, I had to make some small "L" brackets to clamp behind the mounting ring so the trim ring could clamp to something. This solution took a long time to arrive at.
These lights are EXACTLY what I was looking for. There's no muss, no fuss, and no alterations! I didn't need the adapters that came with the kit because I didn't need them. All I had to do was remove the plugs from the spot lights and connect them directly to my existing wires. For that, the kit even came with butt connectors! AN AMAZING PRODUCT! EXTREMELY EASY TO INSTALL, FAST SHIPPING, VERY REASONABLE PRICE! I'm sorry, Son, but I'm keeping it! I'm going to investigate this company for new tail lights and blinkers! Thank you, Truckmall, for a fantastic product. I'm 58 years old and I'm getting excited about my Harley for the first time in a long time!.
These LED lights with passing lamps light up the road 2 1/2 times more than stock at a good price, which I assumed would be cheap until I checked out the company that makes these and other semi truck lights. br>** Important Note** When using LED lights, make sure they are properly aligned; at a distance of 25 feet, the light should be the same color as the center of your headlight off the ground.
The kit includes all of the necessary wiring and harnesses. It was a perfect fit for my 2007 Electra glide ultra classic. There is no need to change anything. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the center light did not require any adjustments. My only reservation is that the light has such a strong direct beam that it restricts what you can see while turning. Aside from that, this is a fantastic product! There's also a radio, which doesn't interfere in any way. For the price, this is a good buy!.
In my 2004 Heritage Softail, I added the Truckmall LED lights. It was fairly simple to set up. Everything you could possibly need was included. The main headlight was ready to use right out of the box. Auxilliary lights required cutting wires and splicing with wire connectors provided in the kit. It wasn't difficult, but it did take some effort. I don't have anything negative to say about it. They're extremely bright, making them ideal for night vision as well as safety. When they aren't turned on, the visual appearance isn't as appealing, but I'll grow accustomed to it. Overall, a fantastic light set at an excellent price.
I decided to give these a try after seeing installation videos and hearing good things about them. They're lovely, in my opinion. They were simple to set up. It's far superior to the original. It's a great deal that's not too taxing on the wallet. You're not going to be let down.
