The 2009 Road King Classic has just been equipped with these. The headlight and both passing lights took me just 15 minutes to install. There were no issues with the OEM connections on any of the three. This was the first time I had modified the lights. With the headlight, I had to use the new retainer ring that came with it. No struggle was required for the outer chrome retention ring to be placed back on. In the same way, both passing lights and rings should be turned on. It was easy to complete the task with just a Phillips screwdriver. Although the picture does not do these lights justice, they are much brighter than the OEM halogen lights. While they are not the brightest lights available, they provide a great deal of light and make a huge difference for a minimal price(112). The same as HDs daymakers which have a high price tag. I would purchase again assuming they last for a long time.

I installed it on my wife's bike and the fit was excellent. I installed it mechanically and electrically without any issues. An extra couple of Although I am sure the kit makes it so all the models are compatible with those rings and brackets. It is an awesome light output and the looks are killer. I rode them for a few months until it got cold, no problems.
If you want to be seen, then these are the shoes for you.

The Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail I own was purchased in 2009. There was no need to alter anything in order to replace the Harley lights with this set. I did not have to use any of the electrical harness adapters provided. There were no problems with either the main light or the side fog lights. The extension ring that came with the set did not need to be used. We did not need to make any changes or cuts. It took me about half an hour to replace them all. It only took a phillips head screwdriver for me to complete the project. After going on a few short rides in the evening, we were able to see how much the change My experience has been that the added brightness and visibility are both quite striking with the increased cost well worth it. My experience with these has only been for a few days, but I am very happy with this product so far.

There has been mention in several other reviews for bikes of this vintage ('02) that the headlight used the standard retaining ring, although a couple of rings and adapters were bundled with the bike. There was no need to modify the It took a bit more time and effort to install passing lamps. The '02 was pre-wired Connect a plug The wires had to be clipped, and I had to use the crimp connectors that came with the harness to attach it. I had to fiddle with the standard retaining rings on one side, particularly in order for the trim ring to fit within the housing. The H-Store appears to have a replacement set of retaining rings that I intend to purchase Check out D and see if they fit your needs better. The rings were secured and everything was snugged up while I was doing that. I have included the attached pictures of the bike in my garage showing the bike with a low beam with a passing lamp and without a high beam The new lights are far better looking than those in their predecessors. The difference in both intensity and color temperature is dramatic! Besides running Custom Dynamic LED turn signals as well as a Bright Ass Lights taillight and LED lights in the front and rear fender markers, I'm also running an LED light bar. You can see some serious light now from this bike! The lights plugged right into the OEM wiring on the bike, so I didn't have to use any of the included adapters. The headlight and included adapter ring fit perfectly, but the new adapter ring was too large to fit the stock trim ring. As well, it was disappointing to observe that the passing lights did not fit They simply flop around inside the housing because the metal nesting rings holding the old lights in are not large enough to hold the new ones in place. While I will soon resolve the issue, the headlight is the only part that has been installed so far. As I'm preparing to head out on a 600+ mile return trip, I'm a little bummed On Monday, I was out of town for a day trip and would have appreciated additional light. A brief update on the current situation * It took only $60 to fix my fitment issue with HD trim rings (pictured) for the passing lamps. The new ones fit well because they are designed to push the stock lights back into the housings with foam on the inside of the ring. This was an ideal solution for tucking in the new ones. In our Headlight Aim, we strive for At the same time I went to buy the new trim rings, I dropped my bike off at the express lane at my local dealership to have the headlight aimed. The light shook a bit more than I'd expected. When I got home, I discovered that since the top adjustment screw had been backed out about 50%, the spring that holds the headlight steady was near its limit, therefore providing inadequate support, so I'll replace it too. Ultimately, I saved myself about $500 by going this route, and while I had to play around a bit to get the fit to be perfect, I am totally satisfied with the product. I would definitely recommend this to someone who doesn't mind having to do some minor tweaks.
