Simple to install in just a few One screw must be removed from the outer ring (chrome trim), three screws from the inner ring (retainer ring), and the old plug must be unplugged and replaced. Remove rings and reinstall them. I am done! A cable adapter was included in the excellent packaging, but it didn't need to be used. All my life would be so simple if only I had that kind of ease.

Although this kit doesn't meet my standards, I can't recommend it. Despite being a copy of Chinese parts, there's not much to worry about with these, in spite of the bright light which is produced. I cannot live with the Down the road light, which is an especially poor choice for a motorcycle application. Whenever I drove on a dark street without street lights, I had to use my high beams in order to ensure I could see at all. The average was even worse than that. Due to the fact that motorcycles usually only has one headlight, they need that "down the road" light. Lights illuminate the road ahead of you so that you can see it successfully. Obviously, this is a safety concern, as well as a chance to spot animals darting across the road. As a result, I had to return the kit and replace it with the VisionX LED headlight. Although this type of light is more expensive, its light output is by far the best that I have ever seen (and I've tried multiple LED headlights Spending a few dollars more on a knockoff motorcycle headlight doesn't warrant sacrificing your safety!.

My 2005 Fatboy is a much better bike with this addition. It took less than 3 minutes for it to be installed. My friend who owns a Roadking, who has one on his bike, confirmed that it has a brighter output than the stock headlight and was on par with the $500 Harley part. If you don't already have one, I recommend getting one for your bike. You will wonder how you ever managed to ride before.

It takes about five minutes to install. The kit contained a lot of extra items that are not needed, such as wire adapters and adapter rings that are not necessary for my bike. I find the kit to look decent As for how long it lasts, we'll see.

I had no issues installing it on my Yamaha V Star 2007. It is reassuring to see you're back You can reuse your old headlight hardware (bracket, front case) and you do not need an adapter with this product. Please discard your old headlight hardware and the hardware that came with the product. That's at least for me and my bike.

It often happens that the headlight will turn off, then come back on, and that will also shut off the dashboard and gauge lights. Due to the fact that I had not ridden at night before the return window, I did not notice this anomaly until after it had passed.

I bought this for my 06 Fatboy. It was not necessary to have a headlight because I already had the passing lamps in LED. The installation process is simple. The light is beautiful and there's plenty of it to go around. There is a 400 dollar difference between the hd brand light and this I have not had it for long enough to certify its longevity. This is what I would recommend.

It makes a big difference when you are driving at night. The body did not fit my 99 HD Fatboy and it took some bending and tweeking to get it to Thanks to it my headlights look so bright and sharp. Both low and high beam work well with it.
