Questions & Answers

Is the warranty valid for a specific period of time?

I'm not sure how long the warranty lasts, but I trust this brand because I've had Torchbeam bulbs on my other car for two years and have never had a problem with them.

How do you plug them in when all I see is a bulb and a large housing with no plug?

In front of the fan, there is a pigtail coming off the side of the bulb's back part. It should be a perfect fit with your vehicle's plug. These LED BULBS ARE AMAZING. Rotate the bulb and housing to fit the notch in the vehicle lamp housing to make sure they're oriented correctly. The high and low beams will not look right if this is not done. On a dark road, check them out.

Is it still necessary to use resistors to prevent flickering in a Nissan Frontier from the year 2000?

I have these on a 2000 Nissan Frontier and no flickering has occurred.

The high and low beams on a 2001 Ram 1500 appear to be inverted
5/5

Version that has been edited. It's either my perception or an installation error, I'm guessing. Do you have any suggestions? br>I can't seem to find customer service contact information. br>br>*edit* I figured out that the diodes should "look" side to side, not up and down. Everything improved when I changed the lighting so that the "blade" was shown vertically rather than horizontally or diagonally in my case. br>I'm posting it here in the hopes that it will be useful to someone.

Much superior to the stock version
5/5

Please accept my apologies for the image's inversion. I'm not sure what happened, but it seems like every time I upload something goes wrong. It is turned inside out. br>There are three things to keep in mind:
1. It's very simple to set up. br>2. a lot more vibrantbr>br>br>br>br>br>br The fans on the lights are loud and produce a noticeable vibration that can also be heard. br>br>Images taken in broad daylight in the Arizona sun around noon. br>Stock has a low light level. My garage was barely shadowed by light from the stock. In the middle of the day, the LED cast a sharp shadow. br>I hope that this information is useful. br>br>Imagine that you're driving. The road signs on the right, which are more than 200 feet away, appear to be lit. That's how it works with the low beam. The use of high beams is ideal. Low, however, is plenty bright.

Very nice, and I'm very happy with the upgrade on my 96 ram 2500
5/5

br>br>Easy to put together as long as your bulb retaining rings aren't broken like mine. I had to place a new order because the ones I had were no longer available. When they arrived, they were a perfect fit: bright, clear, and far away. Before and after shots of low beam lighting are shown.

Efforts to maintain- Lights with a collar (Pathfinder 97)
5/5

The headlights on my 1997 Pathfinder have a twist-off retaining collar instead of a metal clip. I tried a set of LED bulbs that I bought on eBay, but they didn't have enough clearance to work with the collar. This set works perfectly and is simple to install (except for the tight fit behind the driver's light). The installation is not covered in the instruction book, but you simply twist out the new LED bulb from the fan assembly, place the collar behind the mounting ring, replace the heat sink, and install everything. Pull the bulb back and spin the collar a few times if it won't align and turn. You'll eventually get the collar to line up, and then twist to secure it. When the engine is turned off and the lights are turned on, the cooling fans aren't audible at all with the trunk closed. I have high and low beams, no warning lights or radio issues, and the aim is correct. And it's a huge improvement over the old halogen bulbs in terms of brightness, with a much brighter blue-white light. white light, similar to that of a more modern vehicle 100% worth the purchase, I will revise this review if I have issues.

A+ - Nissan Xterra model from the year 2000
5/5

I don't write many reviews, but I was driving home and marveling at how bright these are, especially on a country highway with no street lighting, and decided they were deserving of a five-star rating. br>That's really the point; I was hoping these would be suitable for my style or headlight, but the performance has blown me away. Both the low and high beams perform admirably. Even my greatest fear of becoming a jerk on the road, who everyone starts flashing their lights at because they think I'm driving with my high beams on, has vanished. No one has ever flashed their lights in my direction. So I can't guarantee that this will work for everyone; my gut feeling is that how your reflector is shaped has a big impact on whether or not these will spread light correctly, but for my vehicle, they're perfect; I've never seen a regular filament bulb come close to this level of performance.

It is pointless to use high beam
4/5

Be cautious during the installation process. There were two issues: the first was my fault because I didn't understand how to use the bulb lock rings with the new LED bulbs at first. I see what you mean now, but I broke both of my lock rings and will be going to the wrecking yard for replacements later. The point is that LED bulbs have a larger base, which necessitates a greater amount of finesse when using lock rings. br>br>The bulbs themselves are the second issue. They're great on low beam, especially once you've aimed them so that they shine down the road where you can see the best without blinding other drivers. However, on city streets, high beam is practically useless. In my case, it leaves a large empty dark spot where the low beams were, but it beautifully illuminates the tops of trees. I'd be in business if I was on the lookout for pine cones or mistletoe. I'm glad I don't need high beams where I live, because I'd probably return them.

Install was quick and easy, and the results were fantastic! It's 48 times brighter than the stock version
5/5

These arrived in two days and took about five minutes to install without the use of any tools. When compared to the stock lights in my Jeep ZJ, the brightness and color are shown in the image above. If anything changes, I'll update the rating, but for now, I'm giving these five stars. The difference between my stock headlights and these was measured using a light meter. These lights were 1544 Lux, compared to 623 Lux on my stock headlights. The new headlights are therefore more than twice as bright as the old ones! br>br>The lights will be relayed and the housings will be replaced next. It's only right to flaunt these kinds of lights!.

It's extremely bright
4/5

The packaging is fantastic. Item arrived in good condition. You guys nailed it with the shipment price and quality. The only thing that irritated me was the brittle plastic round retainer locking ring that held the light in place on my 1997 Pathfinder. My issue stemmed from the wire that protrudes from the light's side. It was too fat to fit into the locking ring because of the wire. So I used my side cutters / snips to cut out a slot for the wire to pass through while the light was on, but other than that, these lights are fantastic, especially for the price. I can't hear the fans even when the car isn't running, so they're super quiet, super bright, and super awesome. This would be a five-star purchase if it weren't for the modification. I will definitely recommend this brand to anyone who asks. Thank you for the amazing headlights that I could afford; the other guys' $20 leds seemed crappy, and I didn't want to even try or bother with them.
