Questions & Answers
Amber (yellow/orange) glass is used in this bulb. It has a dual element and is intended for use solely as a front turn signal/parking light on vehicles without a colored lens covering the bulb. Bulb 1157 (clear glass) should be used if the vehicle's lens is colored (yellow/orange).
They are not electrically polarity sensitive, but they are physically polarity sensitive because the pins on the base are at different heights (see photo of both pins on side of base), so the bulb will only rotate to lock in place if the lowest pin is lined up with the deepest slot. By looking into the socket or watching how far the bulb goes into the socket before hitting an obstruction, you can determine which slit is the deepest. The bulb will not rotate until both pins are inserted into their proper slots. If you use too much force, the bulb may break and slice your fingers.

They are ablaze. The end.
They perform as expected. I'm not happy because they're made in China, and every bulb I've bought from there has soft solder that quickly wears away. br>The solder connectors on the bulbs, not the bulbs, go bad. br>br>I didn't see where these were made (country of origin); Amazon should make this a requirement for all items, to be honest. br>I had a feeling that's where they were made, but I took a chance and lost.
Despite the fact that the signals worked, they both blinked very quickly (and would fail state inspection if inspected) as if there were a problem. My Civic was due for routine maintenance a few days ago. The bulbs were not the right type for my vehicle, so Honda replaced them with the right ones. This bulb was advertised on Amazon as fitting the vehicle, which it did, but it did not work properly. I'm extremely disappointed!.
It's very easy to set up. It's probably self-evident, but use both lights even if one is sufficient. br>br>Installed on a Honda CRV from the year 2014.
This bulb had a base that you pushed into the socket and then turned to lock it in. My car's foundation was actually "wedged"; The number 3457NA was printed on the old bulb (which I ordered after receiving a refund from Amazon for the previous purchase of 1157A). Before you buy a bulb, make sure you know what kind of base it has. It's possible that this will save you some time.
These are not compatible with a 1997 Volvo 850, as Amazon claims. They have two contact points at the base instead of one, and they look nearly identical to the bulb that does fit. I'm pretty sure the 1156A bulb is the right one. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: Neither the 1156A nor the 1156B will fit. The offset pins are missing from that bulb. I'm on the lookout for a more compatible partner.
The restoration of a 1976 Chevrolet C30 dually dump body. There were no turn signals. existent. I can now signal my intentions after finding one faulty socket and one faulty bulb!.
These are a perfect fit for the front turn signals on the Nissan Rogue 2009 model. br>For easier access to the bulb on the driver's side, remove the air duct panel.
