These are quite bright, but the leds are even more so. I got these for the price, but I went with the leds for my reverse lights. The Jeep Patriot was released in 2014.
In the brake light bulb position on the 2008 Chevy Cobalt, the SYLVANIA 3157 SilverStar High Performance Miniature Bulb will not fit. We recommend calling Sylvania directly at 1-866-SYLVANIA (1-866-SYLVANIA). 800- 729- 3777 for confirmation on which bulb is best for your particular installation.
Google the specs for the year and model of your Firebird, or look in the manual if one is available, to find out. If the running lights are listed as 3157, it should work.

For years, I've been using Sylvania bulbs in my vehicles. They never let you down and provide excellent customer service if you have any issues, so keep your receipts! Whenever I buy a used car, I replace all of the bulbs, both inside and out, with Silverstars, and they never let me down. They produce a whiter and brighter light than standard bulbs. I especially like them for reverse lights. br>br>When installing bulbs, remember to ALWAYS put on gloves. When the lights heat up, the oil from your skin adheres to them, causing premature burnout.
They last a long time and don't have the unsightly yolk that comes with stock bulbs.
The light output is excellent and the fit is perfect. It took about 45 minutes to finish, with 30 minutes spent on the driver's side bulb due to its location beneath the air filter. I would buy it again if the need arose.
To be honest, these look great as long as they work, which is the problem. They only last about 6 months in my Tahoe (DRL's) before one of them breaks. within 3 minutes, like clockwork The other one burns out after four weeks. I've put up with it for about two years because I like the bright white light, but I'm tired of having to change them out, which takes about 15 minutes now. I'm most likely going to go with leds.
The blue tint is purely cosmetic and does not detract from the quality of the halogen replacement lights. This is the light you need if you want a halogen yellowish white light with a 'xenon blue' look when the lights are turned off. It's a good match for my halogen main headlights. The turn signal function is retained, but there is no fast flashing.
Today, December 28, 2017, another person informed me that my passenger brake light is out, not sure how long it has been out, and that the other side is still working. I am not happy.
It went off without a hitch. br>They are a lot brighter than I expected.
This bulb was a perfect match for my Buick Enclave from 2009.
