Selected User Reviews For BEAMTECH H10 Led Fog Light Bulb,9145 9140 CSP Chips 6500K 800 Lumens Xenon White Extremely Super Bright
As advertised, the color temperature is 6500k. br>My previous halogen bulb became extremely hot, and the fog lights in the 2015 F150 have been known to crack as a result of the heat. I'm happy to report that these LEDs are cool to the touch! To the touch, my lens is cool! br>I'm looking forward to trying more Beamtech products!.
I learned something about LED bulbs: they must be designed in the same way as the halogen bulbs they are replacing. The ones with projector lenses don't work properly because the light that comes out of them bypasses the fixture's reflector, leaving it unfocused and scattered. When I put these in my fog lights, I got the wide flat beam that fog lights are supposed to have, as well as the brilliant white light that matches my LED headlights.
The light color is similar to that of a high-intensity discharge lamp, but it emits less heat than an LED. These are for my 2009 Ford F150's fog lights. They appear to be fantastic. I bought a set of LED headlights from Beamtech, and the old factory fog lights looked dingy and yellow after they were replaced. The truck looks even better with these new Beamtech fog lights. I had some issues with the headlights I purchased, but Beamtech was quick to respond and try to resolve the issue. You can read more about it in my headlights review, but Beamtech is very concerned with customer service.
This is a fantastic collection of light bulbs. The room is well-built and brightly lit. In comparison to incandescent light bulbs, LED light bulbs have a much longer life span and are much brighter. With LED headlights, it also gives the vehicle a more modern appearance. When compared to incandescent light bulbs, there is no difference in terms of installation. With the cord that connects to the LED bulb, it also gives it some versatility. The cord is connected to the vehicle's old incandescent bulb socket. Then I simply zip tied the cord to the frame to keep it out of the way and to make it look neater. I will never buy incandescent bulbs again because they were well worth the money. They also have an excellent customer service department. And I know this because I ordered the wrong light bulb size by accident, and they quickly replaced it for me. I mailed back the wrong bulbs, and they sent me the correct bulbs a few days later. They also conducted research and identified the appropriate bulbs for my needs. So shop around, but remember my positive experience with this company.
The fog lights are very nice, and they perfectly match my 2015 F150 Lariat's LED headlights. Because of the length of the LED chips, getting them into the housing was a little difficult, but after laying under the front bumper and finding the right angle, I was able to get them in. They have a great overall appearance and are extremely bright. My purchase was a great success.
I didn't want to leave my fog lights out since I replaced both my low and high beams with Beamtech bulbs. While the Beamtech fog lights aren't noticeably brighter than stock fog lights, they emit light with the same color temperature as the Beamtech low beams, so I don't have any blue-light issues. Yellow fogs with white low beams. They're just as simple to put in as stock bulbs, and they don't require any tools or vehicle modifications. Simply unplug and remove the stock bulbs before replacing them with Beamtech fogs. Although the instructions stated that these units may require an additional resistor, which Beamtech would send me if necessary, this additional resistor was not required in my case (and my vehicle does have a CAN bus).
This is an introductory review based on the fact that I installed them today and took one test drive after dark. In the future, I'll try to remember to come back here and provide an update. The bulbs fit perfectly into the housing and were a direct replacement for the factory halogen bulbs, making installation simple. They're a perfect match for my Beamtech headlights in terms of color. Because they're fogs rather than headlight bulbs inserted into the fog assembly, they're not particularly bright. If you've already purchased or are considering purchasing Beamtech headlights, it's well worth the money to purchase these and have them color-matched.
I would have given it five stars if the plastic locking tabs on the bulb hadn't needed to be modified. Despite doing my research and ordering CORRCET bulbs that said they would fit my 2006 Toyota Tacoma, they were installed differently than my factory fog light housing would allow. There are no issues. It's only now that it's truly become a one-of-a-kind bulb. (If something doesn't fit, figure out how to make it fit. ) in moderation).
