After a couple of check engine light codes appeared every time I went to the gas station, I concluded that the gas cap was faulty. I got this amazing one, and luckily, someone who owned my car before me bought the same gas cap, and it looked old, so I assume it held up for a while. I put the new gas cap on, kept the old one for backup, hooked up my scan tool, cleared the codes, and it hasn't returned. Thankyou.
This was purchased to replace the gas cap on my 2008 Saturn Astra, and it appears to be of poor construction quality. What can you do if the pieces are a little loose? It just doesn't feel solid or high-quality. For some reason, it's also hard to twist in.
The purpose of purchasing this item was to replace the factory gas cap. It appears to be of high quality and is simple to operate. We replaced this gas cap because the engine light came on. The warning light on the engine has been turned off. Thank you very much!.

The cap went on easily, but the top of it wouldn't close properly on my fuel tank door. My vehicle is an Isuzu Ascender. The fit isn't ideal.
I bought a generic version from Auto Zone, and the P0445 code caused me to fail my emissions test! I made numerous changes and spent a significant amount of money. This was the most recent change I made. The emissions were approved. I was feeling a little silly. My truck, on the other hand, received a slew of new parts.
Perfect fit for a suburban 1500 from 2007.
