This filter is compatible with virtually any small engine that has a crankcase ventilation system. Mine is connected to a barbed connector, which is then connected to a piece of vacuum line that runs down to the crankcase. This way, a sheet metal screw could be used to secure it in a more secure and aesthetically pleasing location on the frame. Buy it. You'll be able to pull it off.
On any device that requires a breather filter, such as a motorcycle's crankcase.

When switching from the stock intake to a performance intake, this product works great as a gas tank ventilation breather on the Predator 420 sealed gas tanks. With the performance intake, you no longer have a connection point for the evaporated gasoline fumes to be burned in the engine on the next startup, so this is a cheap and easy way to let the tank breathe while keeping gunk out of the evap canister.
This is what I attached to the ohv cord hose.
In terms of functionality, the filter appears to be as good as one would expect from Uni. The mounting tab, on the other hand, is extremely fragile; I mounted it to the base of a carburetor bank I was rebuilding, and all it took was a small nudge to break it off. It's still usable because it didn't break into the body and open a hole past the filter; it just has to float off the hose without being attached.
I like that it has a built-in tab as well as a zip tie to keep it in place. I used it on the gas tank vent line on my 240sx. So far, everything is running smoothly.
LSA supercharger on LS3 engine looks great, no problems.

This filter's tube is very stiff, and it wouldn't stretch over the pipe I was trying to attach it to. I threw it away because it had cracked and broken off.
