Not 3/8". It measures 7/16" in diameter. I originally thought it was 10mm when I posted. My assumptions were incorrect. This time I measured it, and I apologize for the previous miscalculation.
A Catch Tank prevents anything from returning to the engine.
It's 3/8, according to my calculations. But the truth is that the hose that comes with it isn't very good. It is extremely thin and easily kinks. I went to the parts store and bought one with thicker walls that would hold its shape better.
9932 is the component number.

The chrome is of good quality, and it functions properly. It comes with a lot of hardware to make installation a breeze. The only minor criticism (still a five-star rating) is that the included hose is useless. It's so thin that even the tiniest bend kinks it, so spend the $3 and get a better piece of hose before you start.
It was installed under the left side cover of a Honda VTX 1800 and is the perfect size for tucking away. It allows me to use my aftermarket intake without having to worry about the motor spitting into the filter. Very sturdy and of excellent quality. I was able to use the mounting hardware provided, but the hose was too flimsy, so I had to rerun the vent hose with heavier duty line.
Use teflon tape on the threads if you don't want the thing to fall apart down the road, which would be a waste of money. Until now, it was fine.
The thing vibrated a lot while I was riding! Out 70! I was well aware of the situation.
The foam filter isn't big enough to cover everything and keep debris out.
It has a nice appearance and is made in a quiet manner.
