Fit perfect. No issues. I hooked my voltmeter to the battery to see if it would charge while it was on. Basically, it was being drained until it was about 8 liters. As a result of some research, I replaced the battery, selonoid, and starter, and then I decided to replace the stator as well. A solution has been found to the problem. I can now crank the ignition key to start the ATV without having to pull the battery from the ground. It is charging up to 13 volts.

I had to struggle tooth and nail to get the parts to arrive. It is their fault that this could not be done sooner, but fortunately it fitted My sportsman 500ho also works perfectly, what I had to do was cut off the female spade clips from my old plug and insert the new ones to make a perfect fit, but otherwise the unit is good so far.

SPORTSMAN 500 2004, ALSO KITTED WITH POLARIS STATOR 3089249 - HOW TO REPLACE IF IT FIT, IT DOES NOT. It is completely the wrong diameter of the shaft. 3089249 WILL NOT BE REPLACED.

My 2008 sportsman 500 had an overcharging issue, and it has been resolved. Changing the charging electrical connector at the factory was necessary. A few minutes were all it took, but it was worth it for the money saved.

As soon as I tried it in my 2004 Polaris Sportsman HO, it didn't fit and it had already been too long, and I cannot It says it will fit, but I'm not sure.

My problem has been resolved. I used a harness I didn't have the same harness for, but it was easy to adjust. I used it for a 2008 Polaris 300.
