Questions & Answers

What type of polyscratch resistance is this?

Hello, everyone! This Polaris Ranger Fullsize 570 XP, 900, 900 Crew, and XP 1000 Rear Windshield IS NOT made of scratch resistant polymer. The rear windshield is not offered with this feature. My sincerest thanks go out to you.

The rear windshield is designed to fit the 2017 Polaris XP 900 crew. Will this fit?

Our 2018 900 XP regular cab is not sure, but it is a 2018 900 XP

The two-man team is at it again! There is no way it can be done by just one person
5/5

It would have been better had the seal been precut at the factory (both the seal and the metal cable could have been mounted at the factory before shipment) but not a big deal as long as the metal cable is not cut too thinly. This razor is as sharp as a It has a roof, so take out the rear screws and pop it up so the window can be seen. Good luck putting the screws back in after that. If you need a second opinion, take your time to do so. The tint is just a light one, nothing dramatic. Make sure you have a rubber mallet near by so you can pop the seal. A new seller will replace this update! I give hands down an A++ for seller and am thankful.

I like the design, but you may want to check if your roof is an OEM
4/5

The roof was installed on a 2019 Ford Ranger XP 900 with a plastic OEM lock and ride roof that is bolted to the truck. As the OEM roof hangs down, its bolt holes cover the mounting holes for After installing the windshield, I removed the bolts from the roof and popped it up. Then I bolted the roof back down. I would think that would not be hard to do but would be time-consuming and contrary to why I picked this windshield, which I would like to easily remove when transporting the machine. I do not want to have to take the roof off. As I see it, it would be best to trim a half inch or so off the entire back overhang of the roof, which shouldn't be a problem, but wanted to make sure others knew this might be a problem if they wanted to easily install or Yes, and I agree with other commenters, the bulb seal is a pain to put on. Video clips of SuperATV do not reflect reality. A whole lot more elbow grease, or in this case thumb grease, is required. The rest of the product is great.

Exceptional product at a decent price
5/5

This is a fabulous product that you will love. The install is easy, but remember, if you have a roof, you will have to work around it. In other words, it's a very straightforward installation process. The process of applying seal is a bit tedious but not difficult, as it must have taken me about 20 minutes, and the whole installation took about two hours (if you don't already have a roof, it takes half as long). My first impression of the plastic is that it's EXTREMELY clear and consistent with Lexan brand, which I was surprised at this price point. As a result of the installation, I have driven several miles of gravel roads up to 50 mph In my goal, I wanted to drastically reduce the dust in the cab so I drove at 60 mph. This product works well and has a clear glass. It is a great price too.

There is no XP model of the Polaris Ranger 1000 for 2020
5/5

For the money, it's a good buy. If possible, you should go with two people to avoid the seal. The back of the roof had to be removed and I completed it myself in 45 minutes. As I was replacing the factory roof screws, I noticed that putting pressure on the top part of the window was stressful. As long as the window seals, there will be no problems. Upon purchasing the vehicle, I knew the factory roof could be problematic due to reviews, so I don't have any complaints. My main objective was to find an affordable rear window at a good price, so I am pleased with this purchase.

Properly installing the gasket proved to be the most challenging part
5/5

Could you please let me know if there is a front and a back to it, or does the front and back match? There is sometimes glare on it, making the space difficult to see through. Both sides appear to be the same, no matter which way I turn it.

This is a very difficult to install product and it In order to install the rubber window edge, we had to use a screwdriver
3/5

Two people and two boys are definitely needed to complete this project! There is also the problem that the glass scratches so easily that it makes the phone no good for taking. In just the process of assembling it, there were numerous scratches on the window. Buy scratch-resistant windows and that way you'll save money.

Almost as if it's made of gloves
5/5

The back window is in perfect working order and fits My experience with the gasket shows that it is not difficult to fit and no difficulty is involved with installing the gasket. To install the window gasket properly, it is crucial to read the instructions and soak the gasket in very warm water for a few minutes before installing it. About 35 minutes from start to finish. All the parts fit together as if by magic. The product is great, and the company is great too!.

It's an awesome product that fits perfectly
5/5

I love what it looks like on my Ranger It was not easy to seal around the edges of the wind shield and once the seal was in place, I would have benefited from an extra set of hands to install the seal, as I had to remove the cab roof partially in order to do so. The product fits well and I like the look and feel once I put it on.
